Emails like this make my day ‚ėļÔłŹ All about making people feel better, especially if they are in pain! This is from a pregnant lady who unfortunately is suffering with pelvic girdle pain!
1-1 sessions available for everyone; antenatal, post natal, low back pain, injuries, or those just generally wanting individualised Pilates sessions!

CHANGE TO PHYSIO PILATES CLASSES! NEW CLASS! Due to popular demand for Physio-led Pilates suitable for those with low back pain etc, I have removed the Wednesday 2pm Post Natal and I have changed it to a Mixed Ability Physio-led Pilates Class - beginners welcome! 3 spaces have already been taken for the next 6 session block, so drop me an email emilyfrierphysio@hotmail.com if you would like a space or have any questions!

Exciting news! The NEW daytime Physio-Led Pilates classes are official!
Wednesday: 2pm - Post Natal with babies ... 3pm- Back pain/Injuries/Beginners
Thursday: 10am and 11am - mixed ability classes. Still suitable for beginners and those with pain and injuries but also will be progressed for those who have done pilates before!
I already have spaces filled from the evening waiting list, so please let me know ASAP if you are interested! The 6 session blocks will be starting on 18/19th July, please email me for more details - emilyfrierphysio@hotmail.com.

Just received some lovely feedback from a client’s daughter who I taught back in March! Proving Pilates is for anyone and any age (this lady was 80+)! Nice to see she’s maintaining the daily exercises I left her with after the block.

Holiday Help for Backs!
Holidays, yay, everybody loves them. However, sometimes your back wont. Long flights, a change on mattress, flights and a change in activity level can all contribute to back pain. Here are some top tips for keeping your backs healthy on holiday: ‚ÄĘ Packing ‚Äď keep your case as near to waist height as possible to avoid prolonged bent over postures. ‚ÄĘ Luggage ‚Äď when lifting your case, use the handles, keep it close to your body and engage your core! (It i...s also acceptable to ‚ÄĘ Hand Luggage ‚Äď avoid one shoulder bags, rucksacks are best! ‚ÄĘ Flights ‚Äď move around as able when on board. Gentle neck and ankle stretches will ease any stiffness there. Before they call your flight try and stay active. Don‚Äôt sit for two hours before getting on a plane to sit for even longer!! ‚ÄĘ Pool ‚Äď If you are lucky enough to have a pool or access to the sea then use it! Swimming is fab for your core and even just walking up and down the pool is excellent. Of course, you can also increase the difficulty of this exercise whilst carefully sipping an iced cocktail at the same time. ‚ÄĘ Move ‚Äď as tempting as it is to lounge on the sunbed all day, be sure to change position regularly! Stretching your legs is important, and if you find an ice cream on the way, well that‚Äôs just a bonus. ‚ÄĘ Footwear ‚Äď if only pottering around the pool then ill accept flip flops but you are walking any longer distances try and wear more supportive shoes! Not only will if help your pelvis/back, it will also help prevent complaints such as planter fasciitis and shin splints. ‚ÄĘ Stretches ‚Äď when you wake up and go to sleep! Lumbar rolls, cat/cow and roll downs are all perfect for quick fixes that target the whole spine.
Hopefully these will help you get the most out of a well-earned break!
