ems-i is a global provider of specialist Digital Readout systems, encoder technologies and measurement products for a wide range of machine tool, automation and QA Inspection applications.

Through our international distribution and global partners we are able to meet the demanding requirements of our OEM, OEI and end-user customers both large and small.

Originally founded in 2008 by Electronica Mechatronic Systems Pvt. Ltd. Based in Pune, India, as an overseas office to act as its European headquarters for international business development the company expanded its markets and product lines and became a full independent UK company in June 2012.

Now dealing in over 20 countries including Russia, China, South Korea and the USA ems-i has an extensive product portfolio covering machine tool, automation, fabrication and inspection systems.

Specialising in linear encoder and feedback measurement solutions we have products from simply manual machines through to performance CNC and PLC applications. We can provide a wide range of measurement solutions based on both optical and magnetic measurement principles.

With rotary, angular, cylinder and and wire encoders and counters available, if you need to measure to within 0. 1-micron or 1mm we will have a viable cost effective solution available. We also have an extensive range of magnetic tape and reader-head solutions available to provide cost effective, performance, measurement in difficult environments and /or where mounting space is limited.

We can also provide performance inspection systems including digital height gauges and video measurement systems. These performance inspection systems allow for the accurate measurement of components to ensure the highest levels of quality assurance.
