Enactus Imperial is a diverse group of Imperial College students united by the common goal of developing sustainable projects to make a difference.
Enactus Imperial Description
With a membership of over 80 IC students, our teams run a wide variety of social enterprise projects designed to make a difference. Over the years our projects have spanned all across the globe, ranging from local London schools to rural villages in Kenya and Tanzania.
Our projects create sustainable economic opportunities for disadvantaged communities, focusing on entrepreneurship, market economics, personal success skills, financial literacy, and business ethics.

Imperial's Flagship Innovation Competition, the Venture Catalyst Challenge enables Imperial students and alumni, within three years of graduation, to develop an innovative idea for commercialisation. Participating in the VCC is your opportunity to turn your innovative idea into a tangible product. Successful applicants will make it through to the programme of masterclasses, coaching and expert advice to supercharge your idea. This will be followed by the finals, which consis...ts of heats for each track (Digital, Consumer and Fintech, Environment, Robotics/AI, Health and Wellbeing, and Social Impact) followed by the Grand Final, where you will have the opportunity to pitch for a share of £80,000! Technopreneurship is an education project targeted at Y9/10 students to promote interest in STEM subjects. We deliver a 4-week programme consisting of science and business workshops to different schools.
We are looking for volunteers to deliver our science and business workshops. Volunteers will have the opportunity to develop their interpersonal and presentation skills. Following a 2 hour training session, the programmes will be delivered every Wednesday from 7/11-29/11 for Maria Fidelity Convent School and St Marylebone School. Technopreneurship
Technopreneurship is an education project targeted at Y9/10 students to promote interest in STEM subjects. We deliver 4-weeks programme consisting of science and business workshops to disadvantageous schools, and have been doing so for the last 4 years. We are currently recruiting for two teams- Business development and Teaching team.
The business development team will be focusing on the development of new educational packages that are more industry-relevan...t. The job scope will include 1) conducting market research on skillsets of growing/trending industries, 2) validating findings and/or hypotheses through relevant stakeholder engagement, 3) designing rigorous curriculums in conjunction with teaching organisations and/or schools, 4) improving structure and layout of teaching materials and 5) developing an online platform/app to improve scalability of programme and student engagement. Commitments will be every Monday from 6-8 pm and may end much earlier depending on work that has to be done.
The teaching team will be focused on the delivery of the workshops. All those involved in the teaching team will have the opportunity to develop their interpersonal and presentation skills. Volunteering hours from Technopreneurship will contribute to an Imperial Plus certification. Weekly trainings will be held every Tuesday from 6-8 pm from 22/10-5/11. The programmes will then be delivered every Wednesday from 7/11-29/11 to Maria Fidelity Convent School and St Marylebone School.

Check out these grants that are being awarded to Enactus students by ASDA, TESCO and EY, which will be accompanied with workshops and visits to their HQ. They are targeting projects with a focus on mental health, youth empowerment and poverty.
... As these grant deadlines are a bit tight (19th of October), it is not required to have a detailed plan for your project. Just fill in a short paragraph for your application and you will be on your way.
