Princes’ Trust Ceremony – 8th September 2009
Team 2 of the Princes’ Trust 12 week programme, came to an end this week. The team members put together the event and presented their achievements and experiences. Linda McRoberts, Head of National Team Programme, Princes’ Trust presented the learners with their certificates.
... The event was well attended, by family, friends and staff from the College. Residents of Elmhurst Care Home in Enfield also attended. This is where the learners carried out their community project and took the residents out on a day trip to Southend on Sea.

Wow, Mid-week already! Today is the second day of enrolments for late applicants, so let all your friends know. If you need any information or help, about what courses you want to do, come see us.

It was good to see students coming into college to pick up their GCSE results on Thursday. Many had good results, and many students were relieved they passed. While some students went onto celebrate as they got their grades they needed to get into their University. Speaking to a few students, they all gave thanks to their teachers who have helped them throughout the year. One student Nurgal Yanmaz, who was shocked and “lost for words” when she got an A in English, said “James was superb, and because of him I got a good grade, if I can be in his class again I would.”

Ahh people, let the bank holiday begin!! Well done to everyone recieving their GCSE results yesterday, how did you do? what are your plans now? Hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend!
