Enhanced Care Services Ltd. are looking to recruit First Responders (Frec3 minimum), ECA’s and Paramedics to assist with an increase in demand for patient transfer work in the South West to help with the CoVID-19 response.
Our teams are providing a 24-hour service with regular work available for all clinician grades mentioned. We are looking for professional and passionate clinicians to join our team, ideally located near to Hampshire due to equipment and vehicles.
All work ...will be on a self-employed, sub-contractor basis.
Blue light and C1 licenced drivers would be desired, but not essential.

HQ, near Southampton, on the 10th of March 2020, the PILS course (www.resus.org.uk) is aimed at doctors, medical students (final year), nurses, health visitors, school nurses, nursing students (final year), midwives, ODPs , cardiac technicians, resuscitation officers, physiotherapists, dentists, dental nurses a...nd ambulance technicians/paramedics.
The PILS course teaches the knowledge and skills to;
> Understand the structured ABCDE approach that facilitates rapid recognition of seriously ill children > Provide appropriate initial treatment interventions to prevent cardiorespiratory arrest > Treat children in respiratory or cardiorespiratory arrest until the arrival of a resuscitation team or more experienced assistance
A manual is provided and certification is through the Resus Council issuing an PILS Provider Certificate valid for one year. The course has authorisation for 5 CPD points.

HQ, near Southampton, on Monday the 2nd of February 2020, the ILS course (www.resus.org.uk) is designed for those is a first response role to seriously unwell patients including cardiac arrests. It is aimed at doctors, nurses, ambulance clinicians, midwives, dentists, allied health professionals and other emergen...cy service and prison staff. Students of these classes are also welcome.
The course structure is set by the Resus Council, namely of a lecture, skill stations and cardiac arrest simulations (CASTeach)
Faculty are professionals in their emergency environment, namely Emergency Medicine doctors, ED nurses and front-line paramedics.
A manual is provided and certification is through the Resus Council issuing an ILS Provider Certificate valid for one year. The course has authorisation for 5 CPD points.

The ECG remains the most essential investigation for assessment of cardiac activity and status. Whether determining rhythm of ischaemia, the ECG is a crucial piece of diagnostic kit. Acquisition is easy but interpretation requires skill.
... Candidates will be initially be taken through topics such as heart anatomy and function, disease processes and how these are reflected on the ECG. Providing a standardised approach, this course is designed to give clinicians a robust method of interpreting all ECGs which will then be applied to more complex pathologies and findings.
The course will explore normal variants such as paediatric and age related changes, expand knowledge on both tachy and bradyarrhythmias, and look at more subtle signs of ischaemia. We will consider axis interpretation and dig into key life-threatening syndromes such as Brugada, WPW, Wellen's and more. The course will also give clinical grounding to the ECG to ensure clinicians take away direct practical understanding.
This course is specifically designed for those interpreting emergent ECG's such as Healthcare Students, Paramedics and Ambulance Technicians, Junior Doctors, Emergency and CCU Nurses and event medical providers.
Note: A Certificate of Attendance will be provided. Lunch and refreshments are included.

Another step forward for ECS today as we launched our EPOC Blood Analysis system.
The EPOC supports our clinical decision making for our highest acuity patients as we can get rapid on site gases, electrolyte and biochemical markers all at the patient’s side.
