Ennerdale Country House Hotel

Lovely quite location, Good staff, nice food. From a womans perspective, I haven't seen a hair dryer that old before, no where near the mirror-getting ready was harder work than it needed to be.

we stayed at the ennerdale at the end of September for 3 nights dinner bed and breakfast , the room we had 27 was perfect spacious clean and warm. We can't fault anything room, staff, restaurant everything was great. Particularly Aaron and Kerry were always so welcoming and happy, again all the staff were but these 2 stuck out for me. All in all we had a great stay and will certainly be going back x

Stayed here twice. Great atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Nice clean rooms and the meals are very good. Set in lovely gardens. Will definitely be going again.

Booked in this hotel to propose to my partner. It took military persicision and planning to set it all of and the staff were on point from start to finish. The room? Out of this world with real wooden beams and jakuzi bath in the wet room. Every single aspect of our stay has been perfect. 11/10 would stay again.

Beautifully situated hotel, the hotel itself is lovely, we had a room with a door that opened out directly onto the amazing gardens, which was perfect as we had our dog with us. The room was large, with a great en-suite. It had a full sized bath, and huge separate shower. It had a large single bed and a giant super king size bed 6 feet wide plus! so comfortable. The meals are superb, and their full 'Cumberland' breakfast was great. The couldn't do enough for you as well. We will be back!

I have been meaning to leave a review for almost a year but keep forgetting, even though I have recommended it personally to so many people.... can't praise this hotel enough, the breakfast to back gardens to the rooms everything was great.
the staff was incredibly polite and helpful.
Not once but we came and stayed here twice.
Might visit you guys again this summer 😃😃😃

What a gem of a place. The room was lovely, huge bed, tea and coffee making facilities and with patio doors that opened on to the garden an unexpected surprise. Lovely breakfast. Excellent service. A great location. Will certainly return.

Very good food and reasonable prices. Drinks order was incorrect but sorted without hassle. Staff notably absent when a crow entered the dining room and we had to catch and remove it ourselves. Difficult to find anyone when it came to payimg the bill. Generally very good

Highly recommended. Stayed for three nights and it was great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great and the room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Will visit again.
