Enterprise Rent-A-Car

It was wonderful but we were going to hire at Xmas it your price were extortionate and we are regular customers so we will now have to think about were we hire next

The airport is still a mess due to construction. The bus exit takes extra time and I don't see why needed. Buses to rental are often delayed.
Otherwise, benefits of smaller airport are positive especially compared to Heathrow. Location for access to midlands/north excellent.

We hired the car from the Luton airport branch. We were served by Mo who has been very helpful. Having completed the relevant paper work professionally and effectively he showed us to our car. He went out of his way and helped us to load our luggage into the car.
We were allocated a brand new car and upgraded without any extra charge.
I would highly recommend The Enterprise car rental company to anyone. We will definitely hire from them again.

Overall I recommend using Enterprise. However, unless you buy the full protection insurance, for the peace of mind please check the car with an agent carefully at collection. In our case a chip was found on the windscreen, and it took Enterprise a while to establish it was already on the system, so not our doing, but it caused as a little stress. Slightly unprofessional of the staff to cause this prior to checking the system.
Overall pleasant experience and nice car upgrade, but do not ignore the car check at collection.

Ease of use - although they are extending the building and there are construction works going on it didn't hinder my travel in any way.

Overall the staff were very helpful. The condition of the vehicle was very poor...not happy.

Very crowded with no seats available when by outgoing flight was delayed.
Automatic passport reader did not function, my passport works everywhere else.
The only bar I found had no bar stools and was inadequately small.
Pick up involves entering the car park and having to pay to exit.

Good quality car rental: I was there last week and Shane the branch manager organised my rental. A nice change from the pushy sales talk you get form the budget rental companies: here you get courteous and quick service, and no long discussion about car damage or insurance claims.

The only negative would be that it's a pain using the shuttle bus, but that's hardly the branch's fault

Luton Airport is still a building site (and has been for what seems like years) but is slowly improving and the carhire centre is easy to locate and well served by buses from the terminal.
