Enterprise Rent-A-Car

They charged me 1000 gbp for thin 9 inch hair line,which is not caused by me. I suspect its due to me taking excess insurance outside.Thoroughly disappointed.

Had me paying out the nose for dents n a scratch I didn't do to the van I hired. It was so minor you had to use put your cheek to the panel to see it! Cost me 1200 on the excess so far plus 200 I paid to fix a scratch! CHECK every part n note ALL the marks n scratches you see no matter how minor or when they say' that's ok we don't count that it's within our tolerance'. They will fine you for it regardless!
Europcars was a far better service and cheaper

Elliot was friendly and polite, upgraded the vehicle as the booked one was damaged.

More expensive than anticipated due to reducing the excess.
Easy handovers both receiving and returning the vehicle.

Sara and the team at Enterprise in Basingstoke were very friendly, helpful and professional, and are a credit to the business. Although this booking was instigated by my insurers who were claiming against another driver who hit my parked car, I would have no hesitation in hiring from Basingstoke directly myself if ever needed as the experience was a very good one.

Enterprise is by far the best global rental company, Basingstoke is my local branch and I simply can't fault them.

Excellent service, clean well presented vehicles and great prices to boot!

Also, take it from me, Enterprise have the best approach to vehicle damage assessment. They own all their vehicles (rather than a buyback scheme) so they adopt a very fair approach to damage assessment. "If damage doesn't exceed the size on my chart, we ignore it"
