I had the most horrible exprience ever today feom Anthony- "management team"

I have never revealed to these guys at this branch who i really am and what i really do and I have always been treated with great respect. I hire a car every weekend as I host very powerful and great conferences in Birmingham. It was always a great pleasure to deal with the other guys there as they are very kind and always treat you with respect that you just want to keep using them and as a loyal customer i never thought that there was a bad apple in the Hemel team but then again it happens.

So i made a reservation with Enterprise as usual as i got there to pick up a car well, there was a customer and i think were dealing with their reservation. So my daughter was watching something on the phone on Youtube, we walked in and this "White male customer" said to my daughet... Shuuush. I said to him excuse me can you please tell her to reduce the volume you can not shush my child" the customer said "but i cant hear" and i said "yes you can just ask her to reduce the volume" and he said "ok oh well" And it ended there the customer left so Anthony, the "management team" was now dealing with me he told me that i have to wait until the car i am supposed to get was supposed to be washed i said but i booked yesterday and i have to rush somewhere. Anthony said the car was just returned a few minutes ago.

After taking my payment anthony threw my licence at me and i asked him what was his problem why is he throwing my licence at me. He said to me i didnt throw it i just put it on the desk for you did you want me to hand it over to you. I made a comment about his behaviour that it wasn't professional and it was very rude of him to do that. He made a comment..... In his words " talking of being rude are you not the one who walked in and had a go at my customer😳😳😳😳😳😳 Oh my days i asked him who was he to get involved in customers desputes. The customer and i ended it and who was he to want to address me like that😳 I didnt know that he was actually getting back at me because i told off "his" customer. Anthony went on to threaten to cancel my reservation and he cancelled my reservation. So just because when i go there i reduce myself and be just like any normal person i was put so low all because maybe i am a small bodied black lady maybe he though he can do whatever he can. But myself being a Bloger, a Director, a Mystery Shopper,a Psychiatrist, a mother, a wife & being black🙋🏽😂 I found it very interesting that we still have these kind of people in this world.

So Anthony cancelled my reservation because he didnt like the way i addressed another customer but what about the way the other customer addressed my child😳😳 anyways the Area manager will be in touch with me in 2 days.

So result:
My reservation cancelled
So i had to Cancel my Conference which was fully paid for and i have announced that there will not be a conference!!!!

Conclusion

Never do business with people who don't know how to seperate Business and personal. How my conversation with the other customer affected him i will never know. He needs to mind his own business.

To me This was clear sign of racism🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ What else can it be🙄🙄

Slight confusion about what time I was collecting the vehicle.so had to wait but not a worry to me . I was given coffee and a friendly chat .

Enterprise and the NCP parking lot that it is situated in have a nice little system running at the moment, rent a car and receive a £100 parking fine for driving out the gate and £35 fee from enterprise for "Traffic Violation for vehicle you have rented". You then have to waste your time resolving this issue. The manager is aware and didn't give us a heads up at all. Avoid.

I was using this (Hemel) branch of Enterprise for a year and the staff was always very helpful and super friendly. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and helpful staff, gave me all the information I required about the vehicle and sorted a small problem with no hassle.

Live opposite, there alarm keeps going off every other weekend and no one comes to turn it off, not getting no sleep, if it doesn't get sorted will involve the police or council for noise pollution, spoke to attendants but nothing seems to get done.....NOT HAPPY. Alarm going of again 22.06.17 looks like going to go off all night...SORT IT OUT???
