Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The car was not checked properly when hired out initially, the manager seemed in a hurry. When we returned the car a different manager tried to imply that we had damaged a tyre and would therefore lose our deposit, the tyres were not checked on hire and were definately not damaged by us. Beware of these checks!

I have used Reading Central several times now and I find the staff always helpful and friendly.

Just brilliant service and always kept informed. Regular calls renewing my hire was brilliant. Left it the very capable hands of Sophie Sunshine. :-)

Decent, new and clean cars. Happy to pick you up and drop you off of needed. Friendly staff.

Andy and Sophie are very good at what they do.
In fact they understand the customer needs perfectly and give choices accordingly.
Over all it was nice to be with Enterprise again.

Enterprise charge 35£ admin fee for every parking/driving fine you get. This is in addition to and more than the actual fine paid to the council. I had to pay 60£ to council plus 70£ to Enterprise as admin fee.

I booked a car a month ago with you at a good rate and have previously used your service before with no issues, I now get a call the night before I'm meant to pick the car up for which I've already paid for (money has been exchanged in full) and have made plans for the weekend and I have not passed the identity check so am now left without a car for the weekend for which I will now suffer financially. I am going to make a formal complaint with the ombudsmen as your process for telling customers less than 24 hours before they are due to pick up the car is a disgrace! I will never use your company again and will also warn others not to do so! I am so annoyed as the person on the phone was no help, you'd think maybe you'd want to help keep your customers and provide a great service so that if they don't pass the identity check they have enough time to arrange an alternative solution! Absolutely disgusting service and will be sharing this feedback on all social media so people can be warned to never use your company when hiring a vehicle!!!!!!

PROS:
- always have cars on hand (even if you book a day ahead via web),
- friendly and helpful staff,
- almost in the centre of the city (pretty good location),
- not a problem when you want to extend your rental period.

CONS:
- long wait times on spot (papers, papers, papers,... and plenty of people).
