Actually... the staff weren’t bad... but... there was a group stood next to the check in desk complaining about their work environment, this is not professional. The guy who did the check out kept calling me mate. When I rang to extend the booking, the guy I spoke to (the same guy as I checked in with) actually made it sound like it was an inconvenience that I was asking to give Enterprise extra business. Then, when I mentioned the van he gave me had a fault, his immediate reaction was to blame me for not going to another branch, taking time out of my already tight schedule, to get the problem sorted.

I will say that the chap who I returned to van to dealt with me expertly well and deserves commendation!

With very short notice after a breakdown they sorted out a van for me so that I could continue working. Very impressed with the quick turnaround.

Good place to rent a van at a reasonable price. They also deliver and collect when and where they say they will.
If you want to leave a car there while you rent something though, forget it.
There will be nowhere for you to park it as the site is so small, all the places are taken up by either their own cars, staff cars, or people who arrived at 3am to get a place.

Great service from the team as always! Ace people that go above and beyond for customers. Don't go elsewhere!

I recently hired a van, unfortunately the door opened on its self in the wind and bashed the light unit as the previous renter had removed the door restrictors. I had various body shops assess the damage, although it was a very light dent, it wasn't a quick fix as it crossed a groove, about £200-300. I returned the vehicle really disappointed that checking the restrictors isn't part of their procedure. They charged my £1200 excess. After weeks of not hearing anything (i had emailed my opinions to management) i received a refund of £400 ish.. making the bill more than double what i felt it should be.
I feel Enterprise may no attempt to help in this situation, charging top money for repairs plus hire rate while being fixed.
I had a similar situation with another local firm in the past and they carried out a repair extremely quickly, same day i believe and the cost was extremely reasonable so i had no issues paying the bill.
Its a real shame as i did like renting from Enterprise but i won't return. Good luck, i hope you don't have a similar situation and always take out the extortionate damage waiver just in case as they'll make you pay top money if something happens.
When things go wrong companies have the chance to create a customer for life or put someone off for life. Unfortunately for me on this hire the previously mentioned other local firm didn't have the van i needed. I'll make sure i hire earlier and use them every time from now on, their fairness in the situation i mentioned means so much more after seeing how Enterprise handled it.

Friendly staff and excellent service

Booked a van. Was told one of two options would be available on the day. Neither options were. A replacement that was totally unsuitable (as explained on the day of booking) was offered. Useless

Awkward location, limited parking. Nice friendly staff however.
