❗️We are appealing for witnesses following three reported occasions whereby girls were videoed in a changing room in Epsom.
The three separate incidents affected two victims and occurred at The Rainbow Leisure Centre in Epsom.
The first incident occurred on Wednesday 5 June, between 17:00-18:00 where the young victim witnessed a mobile phone being held under her cubicle door in the mixed changing rooms. The suspect was a white male with a blue and black tattoo on his right h...and wearing black jeans.
This then happened two weeks later on Tuesday 18 June at around the same time involving the same victim. In this incident, the informant saw a white male with ginger hair, wearing a grey back pack with a white short sleeved t shirt and black jeans.
Following this report, the police were made aware of a second victim coming forward to report a similar incident around the same time.
Sergeant Will Cottee who is investigating the case has said:
“It is unknown as to whether it was the same suspect in all cases but we would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed something at the leisure centre around these times.”
If you have any information please call Surrey Police on 101 quoting PR/45190063309.
You can also give information, 100% anonymously, to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111; or through their anonymous online form: https://crimestoppers-uk.org/.

In response to the riot, and the death of Station Sergeant Green, the Chief Constable of the Metropolitan Police asked that Inspector Goodenough (deputising for Insp. Pawley after his head injury) request to the Epsom Police Courts that all Public Houses be closed under the Riot clause of the Intoxicating Liquors Act 1910 until 23rd June.
On 19 June a Military Court of Inquiry was opened at Woodcote Convalescence Camp. The Canadian officer in charge, Colonel Guest, allowed p...olice detectives to question anyone who, as the result of the inquiry, is implicated in the Riot.
As a result of the enquiry CID constables detained eight Canadian soldiers from the Woodcote Convalescence Camp and conveyed them to the Bow Street Police Station for the charges of rioting and manslaughter.
The men arrested, charged and Put on trial at Guildford Court were: Allan McMaster, James Connors, Robert McAllan, Alphonse Masse, Gervase Porier, Herbert Tait, Frank Wilkie and David Verex. None were found guilty of manslaughter and were sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for Rioting. Within a few weeks they were pardoned by HRH the Prince of Wales and returned to Canada.
In 1929, Allan McMaster confessed to the murder of Sergeant Green, however he had already been judged in court and sentenced and was legally a free man.
