Promotion and dissemination is an important part of the Erasmus+ project experience. It is all about sharing your project outputs to raise awareness among key stakeholders and target audiences, as well as providing a platform to make an impact, leave a lasting legacy and create future opportunities.
Promotion can also be one of the most difficult parts of running a project. We’ve created a helpful digital toolkit to guide you through everything you need to disseminate informa...tion about your Erasmus+ experience.
The toolkit will teach you how to target the right audience, pick the right social media platforms, create long-lasting and engaging multimedia content, run a successful blog and measure your success.
Download it now and use it to spread the word about your Erasmus+ story: https://www.erasmusplus.org.uk/promotion- and-dissemination…

"A lot of the participants we’re work with in Moving Feet, Opening Minds fall into the category of thinking, ‘These international opportunities aren’t for me, they’re for people with money or people with degrees'. It’s really a case of trying to bring these exciting opportunities to participants that maybe, in the past, haven’t had those chances.
"For many of the young people we work with, this is their first real achievement. We’re working with young people many of whom have...n’t had positive experiences in their life.
"We want them to sell their story and to say what they’ve done and give the visibility to them as well as to partners and the Erasmus+ programme.
"We deliver a workshop looking at dissemination, the different opportunities they could have to share their experience. It’s all about confidence building, raising self-esteem and that’s a very nice element of the visibility that we deliver using peer-to-peer methodology."
Clair Brown is the project co-ordinator of Everything is Possible, whose project offers young people from disadvantaged backgrounds on exciting work placements. Afterwards, they are then encouraged to promote and share their experiences - building self-confidence and self-esteem. Read their story: https://www.erasmusplus.org.uk/sto…/eve rything-is-possible-0

"My EVS placement in Belfast was a life-changing experience for many reasons and it gave me the opportunity to experience many ‘firsts’ in my life. Thanks to EVS I was able to get out of my comfort zone, learn new skills and meet amazing people, some of whom I'm lucky to call friends.
"During my EVS project, my passion for dance was born. Because of my disability I never thought I could dance, but thanks to Open Arts, an organisation that promotes professional art-related cla...sses for people with disabilities, I met an amazing group of dancers that taught me that my crutches are not just something I need to walk but are part of me.
"Dancing feels like flying, like my clumsy body has no weight, like I can do anything.
"This new confidence helped me in other aspects of my life; EVS gave me the confidence to follow my dreams and made me realise that one’s passion can become a career. Thanks to my volunteering experience, I got a job at Queens University library."
Cinzia Savonitti became a European Voluntary Service (EVS) volunteer in 2014. She travelled from Italy to Belfast to work at the Crescent Arts Centre. There she developed a love for dancing, with the project creating a massive impact on her life. Learn more: https://www.erasmusplus.org.uk/stories/ci nzia-savonitti

With the Youth Round 3 deadline just around the corner, be inspired by the West Lothian Chamber of Commerce (WLC) Key Action 2 project.
WLC partnered with five other organisations to provide an innovative way to encourage collaboration between the local community and local enterprise in support of young people’s personal and professional development. The materials produced for EYP will enable the programme to extend its reach, allowing others engaged in youth work across the... EU to integrate it into their organisation and future work.
“We have seen a great improvement in the behaviours, skills and attitudes of the young participants. EYP will ultimately help them to re-engage with social life and prevent them falling back into the NEET situation,” said Linda Scott, Chief Executive of WLC.
“By working on programmes such as EYP, we can ensure that our young people have a clearer pathway which will benefit them in the social and employment aspects of their life equally,” added Linda.

"If I’m honest, I felt like I’d come to a dead-end with football in England, so coming here has completely rejuvenated me. It really has helped me massively and put me back on track and it’s exciting to see where this could take me now.
"After getting released, I was struggling in non-league football in the UK. I honestly thought my career would come to a dead end and I was ready to quit. Coming to Sweden has been life-changing because I’ve now earned a professional contract ...with Bodens BK. I’ve agreed to a two-year contract with them, so I’m going to continue to live in Sweden - that shows how much I liked it out here."
After Stevenage FC released ASE graduate Zak, he went on a three-month placement in Sweden as part of League Football Education's Erasmus+ project. Training with Bodens BK FF, Zak developed as a footballer and experienced Swedish culture - achieving life-changing career ambitions. "The main objective of our project was to find new methods for increasing motivation and creating a more supportive school environment to decrease the number of student dropouts. Our school was one of those with the highest dropout rate among our partner countries, so we wanted to learn best practice from our partners to try to reduce this.
"We focused on students with fewer opportunities, who felt somehow isolated from the school community, in order to provide them with the ...motivation they were lacking. We also wanted to encourage greater parental involvement in school activities in order to build stronger relationships and provide an opportunity for teachers to give guidance about methods to help these ‘at-risk’ students.
"The activities have brought them all together, taught them the value of teamwork and to be more accepting of others. It particularly helped those students of low prior attainment who were very demotivated as a result of previous experience in education. Our project gave them the chance to feel a part of a bigger group."
Shooters Hill Sixth Form College [@ShootersHillCollege – Facebook page] joined the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership project 'High School Dropout: One is Too Many', tackling early school leaving in Royal Borough of Greenwich - an area with one of the worst student dropout rates.
