I was looking for a short cape to go over my satin strapless wedding dress, and a google search led me to Erica Stacey! Erica was by far the most reasonable quote I received and also the most friendly and helpful response. I met with Erica and showed her one Pinterest picture and explained what I wanted, she sketched it up, pulled out some sample fabrics and I was sold! The finished cape was everything I wanted and more, and I love that I have a part of my wedding dress that I can wear again! Thank you all so much xxx

I got engaged in August 2016 whilst pregnant and then married in May 2017. I was feeling a little anxious about trying a dress on because I wanted to lose some baby weight, This meant that Erica was amazing and transformed my mum’s 40 year old vintage dress into a beautiful dress of my dreams all in 4 months whilst my shape was continuously changing!!! Her vision is incredible and her relaxed style makes you at ease at every fitting. I absolutely loved my dress and I got to wear part of it again on my honeymoon!

I came to Erica having found the style of dress which I knew I wanted but being unable to find a “perfect” dress without buying an imperfect dress and making expensive alterations to the design.

Erica immediately understood my vision, especially when I was able to show her images of these dresses which I’d tried and explained the issues I’d had with them. She sketched out what we discussed and showed me the fabrics which she thought would work.



The finished result in the end, along with the matching veil, was not only beautiful and perfect but also undeniably a better fit and quality than I could have got from a bridal boutique. I have a tall, slim build so having a dress made to measure meant the waist and hem weren’t sitting too high or too short. Erica also put extra layers into the dress which meant that the flow of the material was a lot more natural and the dress skimmed over my curves rather than hanging onto them.



My guests all commented how stunning and unique my dress was and I felt very proud to have had a hand in its design. I would highly recommend taking this route over buying a wedding dress from a shop, and I found it was not more expensive than ordering a dress and paying extra for alterations. Thanks Erica!

I was a fussy bride who knew exactly how I wanted things for my dress- an anti wedding wedding dress! Erica and I sat and designed exactly what I wanted which was a bodysuit to match a skirt I had purchased in blush pink, plus they made the tie and handkerchief for my groom. I would recommend her over and over again & cant thank her enough for her hard work & beautiful result for our big day ! x
