superb , great music , great staff and never any trouble

i´m fan of the Beatles since 1963, when i was eigth years old.

I decided the first night, go first to Eric's before spending the night in The Cavern...... I never entered this milestone......And after six fabulous nights in Liverpool, I left without having entered any night at the Cavern.

What an amazing place. The band was brilliant. The staff were amazing and the security guys were so lovely and really took care of everyone. Really lovely all round �

No question..... had some of the best times of my life in Eric's Liverpool. Saw some amazing bands and met some of the most amazing people.... Made a big impact on who I am today....

Love the music, love the staff, love the bands, love the atmosphere, I love Eric's bar... It's my favourite ❤️bar in Mathew st and I would recommend it to anyone who loves the sound of a good guitar to go there.. You won't be disappointed!!!

Had a brilliant night in Eric's, the atmosphere is great, took a while to get served, toilets are a long way but felt safe, beer was good, and the band were outstanding, couldn't really ask for more until 3am. I'll definitely be back 😃

Great venue, quirky lay out inside made it even more fun finding our way around it. Brilliant band on that played for hours on end and had everyone up dancing, good value drinks too. Would recommend to anyone visiting Liverpool and I'm sure the locals already know the gem they have on their doorstep.

First time out in Liverpool this weekend and stumbled across this place on Thursday night. Great place and atmosphere as well as amazing bands. Loved the Thursday night so much we came back on the Friday night too. Thought Instajam were amazing. Will certainly be back for another night out very soon. Great place, Great staff and great City. Been to Mt street for the first time yesterday and tried a few places , liked Eric's lounge the best, good music especially the solo singer who made our night out a one to remember.

Absolutely fabulous night, always is and the live band are brilliant again always are . Stairs get a bit more difficult as the night goes on �. Always visit Erica and Rubber Soul when we go out in Liverpool. Best place by far for a night out or afternoon drinks.

It was our first time in liverpool and we visited a few pubs on Mathews st. I really liked Eric's but it had more of a road house blues vide to the decor. But a great place good band on for an early week visit.

I arrived here with my daughter who is 26 years of age who was refused entry without ID, it may be a compliment to some but the attitude toward the 3 of us who were not only sober but had just left our pub after opening at 10am for the derby and leaving at 1pm! it has been a very long day and the attitude of the door person was intimidating to say the least. After us recommending Eric's for being a pleasant safe enjoyable environment we now find it not very welcoming to arrive only to be spoken to in a point blank manner by someone who is supposed to make you feel safe, we understand there is policy's in place but due to the fact she was not only 26 but with two adults the way it was perceived was not in a manner that they follow policy it was more a no and the answers no! wether it was liked or policy or not. we have been here many of times in the same company and there has not been a problem and my daughter has also been in company of here friends and not been ID'D before so we don't understand what happend as she was not over dressed or caked in make up which is common for those who are younger trying to get in, we were casually dressed and in work clothes, we wouldn't of bothered if she wasn't old enough to enter as we understand it's unacceptable but the attitude was more the problem after we have always recommended Eric's to friends and customers.
