Eskdale Campsite

Lovely campsite with excellent facilities and a great shop on site. Close to some great, friendly pubs doing brilliant food and good ales. Lots of fantastic walks on your doorstep.

Even with all of the rain, the owners and staff were extremely helpful and made sure that our stay was enjoyable and hassle free. The facilities are really good and clean. (The Drying room was extremely handy and welcomed with that wet weather) This is an amazing area to camp, we will definitely be back to see more of the Lake District!

Really enjoyed staying in the pod for 2 nights. Site has great facilities and is in a great setting. Only downfall I would say is that there maybe could be a plug socket in the pod for convenience, but obviously not essential.

A well deserved 5-star. This campsite is well situated with the most beautiful surroundings. The people that own the campsite are amazing. They made sure we were happy with our pitch and always helpful with any questions. The toilets and showers were always so clean. It is a pity that campers are a bit messy and do not appreciate a clean campsite. Highly recommended and a big thank you to Martin and to whoever placed beautiful flowers in the ladies every day!

Fantastic relaxed site. Friendly, helpful owner and staff. Very clean and well maintained. Showers were probably the best campsite showers I have experienced. Choice of three good pubs nearby with some excellent walking.

Fantastic site. The most amazing views and walks direct from the site. There are two pubs within a few minutes and we recommend the woolpack if you want to take a longer stoll- about a mile down the road that you can walk to via a very picturesque stream. Owners and staff very welcoming and the site was well kept with all facilities spacious and very clean. We planned on only staying 3 nights but love it so much we have extended for 3 more!

Spent a wonderful may day bank holiday weekend here. Beautifully kept facilities and wonderful owners. Will definitely be coming back.

Brilliant site. clean toilet/shower block. Well stocked shop and friendly staff/management Also a good play area for the kids with a trampoline and obsticle course . Well worth a visit and stay with or without the little ones.

Great views set in great surrounding. Good amenities on site, pub and shop nearby. Friendly staff who are more than happy to help you ensure you have a great stay
