We are happy to be continuing our guest experiences at Alvaston Hall Hotel for our third season. Can't wait to meet new guests and meet up with some old friends. Making people happy is what drives us forward. 🙂

We would lie to wish all our , Friends, Alvaston guests and followers a very happy prosporous and safe New Year.

Hope everyone had a great christmas, I know we did. Looking for to the new year. New challenges and meeting new, happy smailing faces at Alvaston Hall. We are currently taking a short break from flying at Alvaston but will be back there soon. Apologies to those guests who are/were dissapointed we aren't there over the christmas break. In the meantime, Eat, Drink responsibly and above enjoy yourselves. Hoping everyone we know whether it be on a personal, professional or virtual level has a great and safe start to 2019.

Two Little Owl nest boxes ready for going out at Alvaston Hall as part of a project by the grounds team to encourage wildlife into the area.This also involves the creation of a wild meadow with the addition of Barn Owl and Tawny Owl nest boxes. Along with the Kestrels and Sparrow hawks, it is hoped this year other species of birds will also be encouraged to nest on site, which will be closely monitored by ourselves as well as the grounds team at Alvaston. There are already g...ood indications that the project is heading in the right direction. In Autum last year no less than 15 species of butterfly and daytime flying moths along with countless other insects and invertabrates were recorded by the team. Earlier this week small mammals such as shrews were observed going about their business after the long grass was topped in preparation for seeding. Mice and voles are already present in the rough verge bordering the new meadow. Hopefully this will encourage local Barn Owls to feed and eventually breed at Alvaston. The grounds team at Alvaston are always seeking to improve the grounds by enhancing what is already there. Lets hope this new long term project ends up being the success it deserves to be.

Well that was the coldest session so far this year. Despite the cold our guests appeared to enjoy themselves. 🙂

We are off out to do experiences with hotel guests this frosty morning. Best wrap up well, it could be a cold day for everyone. 😉

12 MONTHS OF DISPLAY WORK AT ALVASTON HALL HOTEL It was this time last October when we started offering falconry encounters to the guests of Alvaston Hall Hotel. We have met many guests over this period of time. Each week we are told that we have made people very happy and some guests still remain in touch via email. This tells us that we are doing something right. We hope to continue to brighten peoples lives by allowing guests the chance to get up close and personal with some of natures top avian predators. Thank-you to the management team for their continued support. Special thanks to all guests who have taken part in our experiences.

A rather damp day at Alvaston Hall today but that didn't stop us flying the birds between the showers, Guests seemed to be enjoying themselves so all in all another successful day completed.
