Blast from the distant past.....

After a difficult year I’m so pleased to have completed my first Grand Prix with Aquilino MK, six months to the day after seriously breaking my leg from a fall on a young horse . Aquilino aka Leo really tried hard we got through the test with no real problems. Though we made few silly mistakes due to rider error ! 😬. The good parts I was most pleased with was our passage -piaffe and the transitions in and out . Our pirouettes were not any near there usual standard ,our ones ...didn’t real go according to plan .added to that I ended up with 5 strides in my canter zig zag rather than six our score wasn’t great and rightly so . But still over the moon with him , very happy to have the opportunity to ride and train him , thanks to his owner Frazer Ball . And our sponsor EJF search and selection for making all this possible . Now for off for a cuppa tea and extra carrots for Leo .
