Esquires Coffee

coffee was good. maybe because i went in in the last minute, didn't really feel the friendliness, even though i finished my coffee before the close time. seats have sockets.

Relaxed atmosphere, brilliant coffee and tea cakes. Good after a long walk.

Open early (0800) for breakfast :) Good coffee and a very well filled sausage butty consumed

The decor here is very clean and colourful giving a bright and open feel. However, the hot chocolate I ordered was basically sugared milk with a hint of chocolate and the flat white my friend ordered was likewise not of a good standard. He also had to ask for his food to be redone as his egg was well over cooked, but the second attempt was little better as it was uncooked in places which seemed an extraordinary result. Also, the service could have been friendlier. Needless to say, we will not be visiting here again... Especially as we discovered the Copper Pot the next day which I highly recommend :)

Lackluster service with food served separately, no water or napkins available, self service for cutlery and condiments. Eggs cooked incorrectly twice. Good flat white, but let down by poor hot chocolate and below average food. WiFi is good and perfect spots for laptops by the window. Wouldn't recommend, there are much better cafés in the vicinity.

A lovely coffee shop and lunchtime venue for our holiday week. Good service and friendly staff. Recommended.

Nice coffee shop with a good ambience but service is poor. I got my scone without any cream as I thought they were only offering butter. But when I saw some other customers paying the same amount and getting cream I complained. The staff was unapologetic, did not offer a refund or another scone!
