Essex Abroad enables students and staff to broaden their horizons with an international experience by volunteering, working or studying abroad.

The Essex spirit of adventure is why we value the international dimension of university life so highly. We enable students and staff to widen their international experience by providing opportunities to study at a partner institution, to find a work placement abroad, to attend a summer course or volunteer abroad.

These international prospects give students the chance to immerse themselves in another culture and develop their independence, adaptability and cultural awareness - enormous advantages when entering the global job market.
