When your previous “mechanic” has a go as sorting out your RX8 Step 1 - Remove Old Spark Plugs Step 2 - Cross thread new plug when installing Step 3 - Strip Threads more while removing said cross threaded plug Step 4 - attempt to Helicoil messed Up Plug Port but mess it up big style ... What can I say fantasic service car is spot on top man

Very happy with my BHR midpipe, love the free air freshener and lanyard that comes with it too. Brilliant service from Aston and the team, kept me posted and supplied me with another fitting kit when mine got stuck in UK Customs. Thanks guys!

Today I took my unloved PZ into Aston and Ryan.



I have owned her for about 18 months and just not fell in love with her - I thought the handling was just ok - Not as quick as I thought - Honestly really not impressed.



After a few long chats with Aston he assured me half the problem was the car - The other half my driving style - So i decided to pop down, have a coffee and decide the action to be taken with her.



First job on arrival was a general inspection and view around the car - Followed by checking my coils - Cheap parts fitted by the last owner.



Second job was spark plugs as we had no history of a change - So we had a new set fitted.



Third was the cat - I had reported she felt very hot in the cabin so after a nice long chat and no forthcoming coffee we decided a decat pipe was in order.



Next was a test drive - Now I've been in a few fast cars in my time and own quicker than the Rx8 but Aston soon proved my driving style was putting the car to shame - Aston also found out rather quick that budget tires in the wet turned our little Rx8 into a flapping little fish.



Test drive over and time to reflash the ecu - Loads of little numbers and stuff to tweak and the car was handed back.



All in all I was fully looked after and had full viewing of all work carried out - These guys are so into these cars I'm amazed there was not a big waiting list for work.



They will be maintaining my Rx8 pz from now on - Even if the coffee skills were unseen.



Thank you guys.

They helped me resolve my hot start issue on my rx8, which i was fearing the worst for. They found the fault to be caused by a weak battery, which after replacing there is a massive improvement, they also advised me on a few other things and kept me in the loop the entire way, i’ll definitely use essex rotaries again in future.

So the guys at Essex Rotary had a late night.

Done a great job in fitting New Rad & Gauges & a few other jobs.

Found out that the last owner had put the wrong battery in & had No battery clamp & done damage to the battery case.

But thanks to Aston & his gang, they managed to put this right.

So yet again a BIG thank youth Aston & Boys at Essex Rotary.

Ordered a clutch bearing from Aston it arrived within a week very happy with the service would definately recommend

I bought an RX-8 from Aston and I'm incredibly happy with both the car and the phenomenal service I received. Aston is supremely knowledgeable and couldn't have been more helpful. His preparation of the car was well over and above what I was expecting and he went out of his way to ensure the car was perfect (even though I gave him far less time than he would have liked!). I will definitely be bringing it back for any work or servicing. I couldn't recommend Essex Rotary highly enough.
