Amazingly tranquil. A little beach as well as a huge forest. They do special activities for little ones and around certain holidays.

Amazing place. There is a kingfisher there who sat there for 10 minutes.

Beautiful spot, amazing wildlife. Peaceful! Just be careful on drive in, narrow road with a few passing places and restricted visibility

Nightingales everywhere. So beautiful. Great quality hides and friendly volunteers.

This is a little gem. an old quarry that runs down to the Blackwater. you could easily stroll around for a whole day. there are also lots of very nice hides dotted about too.

It has been drawing me here since the 1960s and will continue to do so. It is wonderful not only for Ornithology but for nature in general and most importantly peace of mind.

This ex sand and gravel quarry is always a good place to visit anytime. A diversity of habits, from estuary to heath and woodland gives visitors plenty of opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife.
