I am a disabled driver and esso Minehead is the only 24 hr. Petrol station for miles. They have recently spent a fortune on refurbishment but apparently there arnt enough disabled drivers to warant lowering. The 5inch curb so a wheel chair could enter the premises and due to this fact the station is unusable for me and any other drivers in my situation how hard is it to lower a curb or provide a ramp. Ok they will come to the door and serve you from there which atleast means in an emergency i could get fuel. But if you have ever been in a wheel chair how would you feel if you had to sit out side a building and wave to get someone's attention or ask some one else that is going in to inform the staff that your out side in need of service. Ok the esso. Isn't the only shop in Minehead that the disabled. Can't access but its the only one this end of town that serves fuel.
