👌easy good service

Apparently this company has been taken over by someone else and their billing system is all over the place. New staff so don't know the customers who are already in hire agreement. A complete mess

I've used other branches of Europcar all over the UK and found the staff very helpful, but here you're treated with suspicion from the outset and God help you if you don't have the correct documentation with you - checking your details against previous bookings in their records is either more than their job's worth or beyond their IT capacities. A little charm goes a long way in customer service - this lot don't have much of that.

The guy on the phone was rude, claimed he couldn't hear me, said he'd call back and never did....

I had fantastic service

After my car broke down in France I had a car hire from Europcar (Abbeville to Calais) 60 miles and another Europcar (Dover to Essex) 90 miles. I was ripped off by Europcar France (£45.00) on charges after I had returned and Uk Europcar charged me for fuel dispite the fact I had filled the fuel tank to the very top just 0.6 miles from my home. I generally experience this in Spain , but it seems it is the objective of car hire companies to fleece all their customers.

Complete con artsits. For the second time I dropped a car off out of hours with no damage of which I have video footage. For the second time they are trying to claim I did damage t the car and want to charge just under £500 for work they are not even going to carry out to fix the car. They are claiming that even if there agent damages it once you have left it its your responsibility. Complete con artist avoid like the plague!
