Have taken a car from these guys a few times now and I must say that, overall, the people working there have always been exceptionally polite and accommodating, and a pleasure to talk to. Special thanks to Rodney who I took a car from in late October! Highly commendable customer service and a joy to deal with.

Europcar employees stole my iPhone.

Within a few minutes of returning a car I called to say that I had left my phone (with dead battery) in the car. They said they would check and get back to me. After a day of trying to call them every couple of hours for an update, I was told the phone was not in the car or lost property. That evening FindmyiPhone told me that the phone was being charged at a residential address near the airport. Europcar have been unhelpful in investigating so I have had to go to the police.

Have always received wonderful customer service at this branch but unfortunately the wait times are dreadful!! Never had a problem with a vehicle but do recommend getting there early as u may wait an hour in line!!

Convenient and efficient service. Couldn't ask for any better. Miriam and Louis deserve all the credit for making the experience to hire an exceptional one. Will be returning for sure. No hidden charges, no bugus sales talk and hassle unlike other car rental companies I've used. Defiantly recommend.

Booked a car through a third party company (Holiday Autos), to pick up at the London City Airport Europcar. When we arrived at the time of pick up, we were told that our car was not there, but there were some available but would count as an upgrade, of course with an extra cost. I had no choice but to go ahead and paid in full with a new invoice issued. As I had paid in full for the car I had NOT received with the third party company I asked for a refund and they investigated it further with Europcar. Europcar then turns around and says the car I had booked was available and I chose to upgrade on my own accord! Money hungry Liars. Avoid
Europcar at all costs!

What a nightmare with these people!!!!!! They put a hold on our card for insurance we didn't even need and gave us a car with bad brakes!!! We spent an entire day of our holiday at another location trying to sort out the hold on the card and the brakes and they didn't have a replacement car on location! The hold came off a week later which was half the vacation gone but they charged us all over again after! Which it shouldn't have been any charge! We will never ever do business here again even if the car is free and I'm considering contacting an attorney due to the unsafe status of the car they put us in! I guess "you get what you pay for" is definitely true here!

I rented a car for two days. Returned it after hours. For almost a week after the rental no invoice or other feedback. It is impossible to reach this office by phone. Customer Service could not answer queries on what the final charges are and when an invoice will be provided. I physically visited the office to ask a staff
member. She printed out a statement of charges showing charges for two days and 18,800 ADDITIONAL MILES!!!!According to this statement I drove 19,200 miles for two days. My total charges amount to 2,800 pounds!!! It is obviously an error, but now I have 2,700 pounds due and no assurance when the mistake will be corrected and when my final invoice will be issued. I am very upset. This is by far the worst car rental customer experience I have had.

Expect unnecessary delays. The staff was just trying to scam to get you upgrade to another car or offering you another car of lower category and lying that it is the same category. Insist to ask for the catalogue and making sure you are not short-changed.

Response to Europcar response below: you should be ashamed with your response. The core problem here is honesty and there is none with your staff.

Europcars in london city airport absolutely excellent not only service but in everything they actually done.
They were so helpful and polite every stop they could do they went to and some excellent people should be more than 5 stars.
Thank you so much for that service.
I recommend if you need a car go there only

Dont bother with this branch.
Service is pants.
I'm a regular customer, as they usually have the best price.
The rules are not quite clear. One week i picked up a car earlier than the time i booked for and was told there is a fee for early pickups.
The following week i picked up a car much later than the time i booked, on the information provided by a staff member who stated the car will be held for 24hours for collection until it is declared as a no show. Again i was informed upon collection that there is a late pickup charge.
This branch is an absolute joke and i dont know why i still go there.
Maybe in hope that they may change their attitude and I will get a delightful service.
Perhaps not! LOL
