Europcar London Victoria

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. Booked a car online the day before so that I could drive from London to Bristol to watch my son's rugby game. Got to Europcar near Victoria Station 10 minutes before my booking time. Place was packed and had to wait. Got to counter 5 minutes after pick up time to be told that car I had booked (Skoda Octavia) and paid for was not available but that in order to get me on my way without further delay Baz would sort me out a Ford Focus. I said would not do because my elderly father with replaced knee needed legroom and, my 6 foot 5 inch rugby playing son would not be folding himself into the back seat of a Ford Focus for the 2.5 hour drive back from Bristol so I needed the car I had booked. Well, things just went from bad to worse because neither Baz the Pleb behind the counter nor Sharon the manager gave a toss. Baz was kind enough to point out that the situation was really of my own making because (a) I had booked through Keddy and not Europcar direct; (b) that I had booked cheap so shouldn't expect to get what I had booked; and (c) he had offered me a car and I had said no to it so not his problem. After bashing my head against a brick wall I demanded a refund only to be told that I would need to call Keddy to get that. I asked for the number for Keddy and got told to look on my booking voucher. I rang the number I found on the booking voucher which diverted through yo Europcar because nobody works at Keddy on a Sunday. Ends up going to Budget two doors up. There were two other groups of people who did the same in the time I was at Budget sorting a car. My advice to you is to not even bother with these Gobshites.

So booked a car in advance and when we arrived there were NO CARS, it was not the teams fault and they were very helpful. Ended up with a very nice upgrade, but had to wait 1 and a half hours for it... We weren't in a rush so wasn't a massive problem, but something to bear in mind. The car we got was great.

I rent a car for 5 days at Victoria Station London by a broker (Auto Europe) and when arrived at 10.30 AM later 2 hours to get the car I was charged 120 Pounds more (almost the price I’ve already payed to the broker) because they told me that car was sent away and they had to give me another car more expensive!!! Be careful watch you contract policy.Then I payed twice also the insurance protection , one to the broker and one to the Europe car (100 pounds). In fact Europe car sells the road assistance (what i need) in the premium pack that includes the insurance i've already bought form the broker (don't buy insurance from the broker!!)

Excellent service, the staff is very polite and helpful. The car was new and clean and I got good supply to solve all problems. I can recommend this branch

The only disappointment with my latest hire was not to have a full tank of fuel, but silly me I didn't notice until I was in Pimlico, and was in a hurry so couldn't return.
The fuel bar was two display bars short of a full tank.
I put £25 which put me back to where it should have been, I subsequently drove 80 miles only for the bar to drop one notch.
But it was my fault not to notice and report.
With all car hire always check everything before driving off.

Five star rating for the staff at Victoria. Always friendly and plenty of smiles😊
I get processed quickly as I am a regular customer, but if in a que the process is slow for others and you get a build up of frustration

Fantastic service. Professional, polite, helpful staff. Pricing is excellent on vehicle. I would recommend Europcar any day, i was well pleased overall.

Good service. Not exactly at Vic station though (about two blocks away). Gets quite busy. Takes time for cars to be delivered to the office. Keep this in mind if you're in a hurry.

It's a car hire place, we hired a car. So I guess its fine.

Very friendly staff and super quick service if you register online. No problems whatsoever either collecting or returning the car.

Misleading cost structure - i was not made aware of extra costs to return the vehicle at certain times. This was simply taken from my account with no explanation. This should be added on to the upfront cost when renting the vehicle as Europcar are already aware of the time that you are returning the vehicle - very misleading.
