The super-sized stars battling it out over 5 gruelling events include:
1. Hafthor "Thor" Bjornssson
- The 6 foot 9 inch 32 stone Icelandic Giant returns for his lost crown. The 2 x Europe's Strongest Man in 2015 and 2016 is perhaps better known for his role in the TV Series 'Game of Thrones'. His infamous character is rather aptly known as "The Mountain".
2. Eddie "The Beast " Hall
- 3rd at World's Strongest Man in 2016 and The First Man in History to Deadlift 500kg (The Half-Tonne) at this event in 2016 made his season one to remember. The Stoke man has now focused on being the total package and he has total tunnel vision for the European Title. This crown is something he looks in shape to win after his record-breaking 4th Britain's Strongest Man title in January.
3. Laurence "Big Loz" Shahlaei
- returns as Champion of Europe in 2017 after pulling off a 'David vs Goliath' style victory over Thor Bjornsson in 2016. After possible career ending injuries in 2015 no one, except Loz, believed he could beat the very heavily favoured Icelander in what became a truly mesmerising comeback story.
