Evans Cycles - Fulham

Really poor service.dropped my bike in for its 6 week service and one of the staff interrupted the conversation I was having with the other staff member.despite scheduling a service they had my bike for over a week before they serviced it and then forgot to do the brakes!!!!all they want is your money and they really don't care about the customer. Lots of other bike shops where business owners actually respect their customers. Annoyed at myself for not checking out google reviews prior to being ripped off for £140!!!

Fantastic service! I came in mid-cycle ride with a punctured tire on a Sunday morning. Duke replaced the tire and also gave a complementary cleaning within ~45 minutes. They were incredibly helpful and friendly -- couldn't be more positive!

Went in to get an estimate for a rear gear change and a new break cable however one of the guys said I needed a new chain which is ridiculous as I needed the new gears because of the new chain as it was jumping.

When I walked in I was standing in front of two employees chatting to each other and waited 5mins for another one to show up and talk to me.

They quoted £110. I went to 3 different shops in the area and the next highest price was £55 so Evans Cycles is at least twice as expensive as its competitors.

I went to The London Cycle Workshop in Hammersmith who did it for £49.50 the next day and they did a great job, everything works again.

I do not mean to be rude but I don't understand how a shop with such rubbish and over priced service can still be open. I recommend everyone to stay away and either go to Cycle Republic as they are good however have around a week waiting time because of the amount of people using their service, or go to The London Cycle Workshop in Hammersmith if they don't mind the distance and want a fast, reliable service.

Don't waste your time here. The staff are rude & unhelpful & can never seem to fit you in for at least a week. Go to Cycle Republic (Wandsworth) or Cycle Surgery (Fulham Road) for brilliant customer service, products and quick repairs.

Went to the Fulham store to fix my puncture. Gloria saw the issue and fixed it quickly, she was professional throughout. She was positively enthusiastic about sorting my issue out. I thoroughly recommend the Fulham Evans cycle branch and would like to express my thanks to Gloria!

Absolutely top quality service and everyone is so friendly. So far I have bought 2 bike, loads of components and clothing from this shop and they have never let me down. Had a full gear service on my Brompton with them and made it like brand new. They also serviced my single speed cinelli bike and now it is running like a beast ! And they always give tips and advices of how to properly maintain my bike. For me this is one of the best and friendly bike shops in London :)

Once again Evans Cycle were very helpful and Antonio from the technician team fixed my bike like brand new. I had an bike accident in that day and he managed to repair my bike within couple of hours. Thank you so much Antonio.

Non existent costumer service. Walking into the store with a bike and being totally ignored. It took a good 10 min before getting any contact despite efforts from my side. In the end they were not willing to help and made me stand around for an hour while talking among themselves. Absolutely appalling. Don't go here!

NIGHTMARE & A MASSIVE WASTE OF TIME!!

Disgraceful service!! Could not believe how I was treated!

I left my bike into get a gear service as there was a strange noise when changing gears. I received a phone call the following day saying a I needed a new part which costed £25. All good no problems with that. I get my bike back the following day and I can't even change gear at all!! I basically paid £65 for somebody to screw up my bike.

I went in as soon as I could to see what the problem was. I was told I could not get a refund first off and that they had told me it would be a big job to fix it! I WAS NOT TOLD THIS!

I was sent to the head mechanic who was extremely ignorant and obviously no clue how to speak to a customer. Just went around in circles for 10 minutes basically.

What is most annoying is that in the end I was told I would need to replace the entire gear system which would be expensive.

After getting the serive refunded, I ended up getting my bike fixed perfectly (same day) in Hammersmith for £25.

bought a bike for my girlfriend from them initially they were helpful (when making the sale) and then aftersales has been dreadful. We took the bike back twice to say the gears weren't set up properly and the second time we were told they were fine and to basically go away. We have had to take the bike back to another (non Evans) shop who told us the gears were set up badly and needed redoing. This cost us £100 and I can't now tell Evans about this because they never bother to pick up the phone! Do not use them!

Really shocked at the poor customer service here, particularly the man on the front desk who didn't smile and sent me straight through to the workshop when I told him my bike computer wasn't working. The guy through the back wasn't much better - didn't offer to help just glared at me and says he couldn't help, then sent me back through to the front desk. The guy there said 'what do you want me to do about it?' Pretty shoddy customer service. The final person I spoke to was more helpful but told me that he couldn't replace my computer even though it wasn't working properly and told me to take it back to the original Evans I'd bought it from. I was under the impression Evans was a chain.. Will stick to my regular bespoke cycle shop (De Ver) in future - helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
