What a great bunch that work in this store. Jamie has been a pleasure to deal with on my recent purchase, which was a Wahoo Kicker turbo trainer.
This was the first one the store had sold so they did not have it in stock, but he got it for me within 36hrs.
Nothing seemed to much trouble.
The Wahoo Kicker is just awesome.
It is so simple to set up to say what technology it has. Within 1 hour I was on Zwift. You could do it quicker but I was very thorough and made sure I did not miss a step.
I would really recommend this product.
After coming of the Tacx which I had for 10 years it's so quiet and smooth.

Been in this shop three times, wont bother again due to them never having anything In stock, it’s like I’m interested in a new helmet can I try some erh!! We don’t carry stock have a look at our online site come back and we will order it in then if you like that one you can then buy then REALLY!!! No I’m going to somewhere else that has stuff in store and can buy that day!! Just Unbelievable!!,

Helpful when selling me a bike but when I took it back for its free service they ignored the fact that I told them the spokes needed tightening on both wheels, the rear wheel buckled a couple of days later, will not be going back again.

Unfortunately a total shambles with my order.
Firstly sized me up,took a deposit Then called unforming they could not get the bike ordered, alternative was recommended.
Phone call stating their was a delay due to a problem with the wheels,finally they called to say the bike was ready.
Today 28th July looked at the bike, the young lad informed me the mechanic said the wheels needed changing, the so called manager asked him who said their was a problem with the wheels they were fine, he told him the mechanic, the manager looked annoyed with the lad jaidan, who I have to say seemed genuine and honest not like the manager I'm afraid to say, who informed me of the politics of the messing about I had occurred, sorry but I was not interested in that.
I went to Giant in the end whose customer services was hugely better and I got myself a new bike.
I would strongly recommend avoiding Evans, I don't like giving them a 1 star either

Staff were very unhelpful. They were really condescending and made you feel like a hinderence. You would have to pay me to go back. Steer clear ;)

Extremely helpful, and happy to do it. Far better than other bike shops I have used for servicing. 6 stars.

Staff dont no what there selling,,,only fey bikes to look at,,,they tell u to make sure its right bike for u,,how will u no if theres not at alot to look at,,but u can order bike put 50 deposit,come try bike,that would take awile to find the right,,,there not allowed specialized on shop floor,,yyy,,,wonted to see a pitch,,, my son just wonted to buy what was ther,had to get a 29,as there wasnt no 27.5,at all,,,once brought his bike,didnt go well,,receit was completely wrong,,wild numbers on it,change of £380.hey sure it was £6 change,,,was just told about warrentys n free 6 week service, nothing at all on paper,,, try rutland cycle,,, sad but halfords,,,come on even sort it out,,, u could be a mega shop,,,as i seen its a big fat fail

Ordered a part on a Sunday, was told they would ring as soon as part came in and was told it would be in Tuesday so rang them that day to be told it's not in store and again that they would ring. Thursday came, still no phone call so went back in store for refund to find out part was in store and was there on Tuesday! Needed the part urgently for a Christmas present so had to go elsewhere. So no phone calls + one member of staff told part wasn't in when it was = poor customer service. Had other bad experiences with the store where staff have been unable to help with bike issues and not built a bike properly.

Great store with a wide range, friendly staff members willing to help with anything. Shout out to Jamie, big help when I visited the store!

Visited Evan's cycles in Leicester today for the first and I'm afraid the last time. My boyfriend wanted to get some advice about cycling clothing that would suit his needs. He didn't feel confident that he would choose the best clothing due to inexperience. The first guy who asked if we needed any help was new to the job and didn't have any product knowledge and went to ask another assistant to come to help. Firstly the young woman seemed quite interested and listened to what my boyfriend was saying and seemed to have some product knowledge. Out of the blue she asked where my boyfriend had got the full length cycle leggings from that he had chosen to try on. When he showed her she said that she had been looking everywhere for them as the price had been increased and the price needed to be increased on the ticket. After working in sales and customer service for the past 20 years I really couldn'tbelieve my ears. My boyfriend said something like "so you want to increase the price of something I have chosen and have in my hand?". She then said in a bit of a strange statement that "Head Office like us to keep up with current prices". My boyfriend did get the the leggings at the ticket price but im still really shocked about this and only for the fact that I have health problems that get aggrevated by confrontation I would have asked to speak to the store manager and to be honest we were both in shock. Really don't know what to say really.. The store doesn't have rails and rails of clothing so the cycle leggings should have been easy for the assistant to find that morning before we turned up about 1.30pm
