Five staff stood round chatting, I'm stood at the till with a couple of items waiting to pay. It is the worst shop. Every time the experience is the same, if it wasn't for the fact I work nearby and there are no other cycling shops in town I would never go.

I've just got back to university and I've got a list of things I need to do including pump up my bicycle tires. I thought I'd be okay since i had a pump on the bike. Nope. After an hour of trying to make that work my tires are even lower and I'm running out of time. I decide I'll take it to uni as they're having a bike servicing event. I push it to all the way to uni to discover they're no longer doing any services. Nonetheless I push on. I need to go into town anyway to pick us some bits and bobs. So I push it all the way into town and finally to Evans cycling. And they pumped up the tires in 5 mins. No charge. Great service. Told me to come back if there were any further difficulties. So yeah, my day was laborious and long but it couldn't have been any simpler at Evans!!

The staff are usually very nice and helpful and parts are standard prices however they usually charge quite alot for the labour for example I got a flat tyre while working so I needed it changed quickly which they did no problem however it cost £12 and the inner tube was only £4

Had two new tyres fitted by Emma here today. Great, quick service and she even price matched against an online store without me even knowing the tyres were cheaper elsewhere. That is extremely decent, saving me around £30.

Thank you!

I required advice on upgrading my old Scott S30 road bike. Came close to buying other bikes at other stores on Merseyside. They didn't ask me what I was looking for, the amount of time I spent on a bike and the type of riding I was intending to do. What was important for me etc. All were more interested in a sale despite wrong gearing on the bike, too aggressive styling and positioning and bike frame being too large for me. I popped into Liverpool One store a few weeks ago. Chatted to Mark for 30 minutes and he gave me at least six options of suitable bikes under £2k. He talked sense and grasped what I needed. I'm 45 yoa. Ride about 2/3 times a week in summer and fair weather for around two hours at a time and enjoy hitting Parbold hill and the like. No pressure to buy. I was left to go away and carry out my research. I decided on a BMC granfondo gfO2. Trouble was they had sold out. I was aware from a Manchester store that there was a 54cm in a warehouse in Bristol. I rang Mark and he arrange for it to delivered to Liverpool one. He built it and I visited store, viewed bike and bought it tonight. Got a great deal on bike with discount, vouchers and a trade in. Got a service due in 6-8 weeks. Cannot fault the service and will be recommending the store and Mark to friends. My son will shortly be wanting to upgrade his mountain bike and I'll be returning to Evans.

Had no problems being served . Gentleman in front of me was off Asian ethnicity. He was in front off me for about 20mins, they handled all his requests and Demands very professionally I might add. So a thanknyou to the lady who served me. 👍

Shocking customer service. Needed to buy an 11 speed master link for an emergency repair. There were non left on display, I asked the mechanic who told me they had them in the workshop but would not sell me one as these were for the workshop only! This was the last in list of issues with this shop across several unrelated visits. I won't be going back!

Terrible service, AVOID!! The female staff member had no interest in serving me, only wanted to serve men. The person who finally served me didn't have a clue about their stock. Wish I could score zero stars.
10 minutes down the road is a shop called GIANT CYCLES. Much better service, knew their stuff, 5 stars for them.
