Evans Cycles - Maidstone

Any enemy of the Daily Mail is a friend of mine.

Collected my son’s £260 bike today and was shown a 1 inch scratch just underneath the handle bars, I was given £20 off and a free stand, not the point though, I was informed that the bike was delivered with the damage already done. It should have been sent back and re-ordered but the store decided to build the bike in the hope I would take it rather than returning it.
I now need to give my son a damaged bike for his 7th birthday as I don’t have time to re-order.

If i could rate zero i would! Just come from the Maidstone store asking about women's mountain bikes, asked if they had a size 18 inch frame specifically, there was one at £650 I was interested in, we said it looked too small at 14 inches, the assistant said he'd measure we were right, repeated we needed an 18 inch said he'd get it out to look at to try (why?), asked if we were local, said we weren't and he then wandered off! No offer or suggestion of whether they xould get anything in... So we've just been to a well known bike shop and had unbeatable, helpful customer service...

I found the staff to be professional, friendly and non- judgmental. The mechanic was brilliant when I had a problem and nothing was too much bother.
I would highly recommend this branch if Evans cycles.
