I understand this is a budget hostel. On the first night a man had stolen my bed when I came in late.
Second night the room stank so bad I was retching.
The one toilet and shower was shared between 16 people (so consider this if you are getting ready need to be somewhere at a certain time).
I'm getting the bad out of the way, as the staff, however unorganized, dealt with any issues quickly and sincerely. I got compted for the first night I stayed which was an unexpected surprise.
Free tea and coffee, nice little chill out area. Interesting people.
Seems too far out if town to be a party hostel as there are other hostels in the centre, but close enough that you can get a bus there in about 10 mins, which is good.
Main issue for me was organisation but other than that, was great.

Very nice. Liked it.

Great vibes, clean spaces, love the common rooms and the energy of the place. Made my Liverpool stay so much more awesome!

This hostel needs a bit of care.
We were given a room that was fitting 2 bunk beds in 2x2 meters. When (while sleeping) I extended my hand out of my bed I was already touching the person sleeping next to me. Really weird.
Beds net are extremely weak and uncomfortable. There's no lighting or plugging for each single bed.
Then, let's talk about humidity. They are close to the sea and - alright- a bit of humidity is normal, but not that much. When I woke up all my bones were hurting. A bit of well done ventilations and heating in the rooms would be more than enough to prevent this problem.
I think that if you want to call yourself an hostel you need to make a bit of effort (ambient ventilations and plugs distributions at least).
And yes, as other mentioned, "breakfast" was just bread.
The only positive side: the staff is nice and welcoming.

- Easy to book
- Direct connection to the city centrum by bus station in front of the Hostel
- near to the Anfield Road

I did not have a good experience at all. The photos I saw were nothing like how the hostel looked in real life. It was hidden about 20 minutes north of the city. It did not even have a sign out front so it was hard to find. The room was run down and dirty. One of the beds broke while my friend was sitting in it, & in the morning there was a huge puddle of water surrounding our toilet. On top of that, the wifi didn't work & the breakfast they were supposed to provide was barely more than a few pieces of bread. Spend a few extra bucks to stay somewhere nicer and closer to the city, it would be worth it.
The only positive was that the staff was friendly and the sheets seemed clean.

The welcome was ok, but the overall place was very bad. One single bathtub (dirty) + one single toilet for a total of at least 10 beds. No fresh bedsheets, no way to know if the sheets on the bed are clean or not. For a price of 25 pounds per night. (on the weekend though)
The place just does not seem to be adapted for a Hostel. Luckily we staid for a single night. I really cannot recommend this place !
