Everyman Barnet

Since it became Everyman however many years ago it was, great improvement. However, food and drinks prices I'm particular are overpriced. We go to West end theatres regularly and price of wine is higher than the theatres. Family night out is expensive and rather than being a regular occurrence is now a special treat.

Second visit. Love the experience. Such friendly enthusiastic helpful staff. Did not like the car park which had bins and vans parked badly and overflowing rubbish . could not find a parking space.

It's a really nice Cinema. Sofas, food etc, what everyone says. It's just having young funky smiley staff doesn't make up for poor service. I'd say the last five times I've visited there has been some #}*€ up with getting orders at your seat. Today it was a 40 minute wait for a coffee and a cake and only the coffee arrived (luke warm). The manager gave me a full refund (thanks) but it doesn't make up for it really.
It's an expensive cinema so the service has to match.

Really enjoy watching movies here. Screens are small but visually effective with comfy sofas and friendly staff who'll bring drinks and food to you before the movie.

The restaurant at the side serves a good burger! Ideal pre movie food.

Excellent milkshakes (especially the cocktail ones) and some of the best burgers I have ever had in London.

All this in a witty, stylish cinema venue that makes date night truly a pleasure.

I always check to see if my preferred film is on here first, before looking elesewhere.

One small area of improvement, if it is possible would be to allow booking at the chair rather than having to return to the bar, but this is a small point and may be difficult to implement.

Beautiful 30s art deco cinema. Spacious seating and good provision of food and drink. You are less likely to be sitting next to idiots at everyman cinemas.

This is the cinema to go if you don't want to be annoyed by people who are not there to watch the film. Two-seater sofas instead of seats; I'm not sure if I'm a fan of these to be honest. There is a reasonable restaurant selling burgers and chips attached to the cinema. Good service in there.

We love the improved cinema. It caters for everyman (the price of the tickets could be cheaper)but a lovely cinema

What a great cinema, really enjoyed our visit, the staff are really helpful and accommodating, there's a good selection of food and snacks that can be delivered to your seat if you like, and the seats are actually sofas! How cool 😎 oh and we were offered a blanket if we wanted one.
They have a licenced bar and they have membership deals, but these are changing soon so best to look on their site for details, they also do private hire.
Parking is free just outside

What a cinema experience should be!

Comfy sofas and intimate feeling, not packed in like sardines. Tickets are priced at a similar level to other local cinemas. Food and drink is far more reasonable than at other cinemas even better with membership.

Definitely recommend.

Great cinema, fantastic decor, brilliant staff, good food and drinks. Highly recommended.

Lovely refurbishment of the old Barnet Odeon. The cinemas themselves are state of the art. Plush seating and waiter/waitress service all add to a grand experience. Yes, the tickets are a tad more expensive than your average Vue but then I feel you get what you pay for.

A really comfortable refurbished cinema. You can sit back with a glass of wine and a snack meal and enjoy your film on fabulously comfortable couches. The parking is easy right outside. Great for Barnet .

Going to the cinema has become so much better in recent years and Everyman is at the vanguard of this happening. Although they show less arthouse type movies than they used to, taking over Barnet cinema has given a new lease of life to a great building. It is pitched just right with regard to the bar area and the range of drinks and food.
I remember going to cinemas in the so called good old days when the seats were so uncomfortable and people who smoked had to sit on one side of the cinema, (yes, you could smoke in the cinema!!).
Love the atmosphere here and the staff are very nice and seem enthused, as opposed to the automatons that are left out to go rusty in the big chain cinemas.
Enjoy
