Michael Briscoe is the managing partner at Ewart Price and has worked at the office in Welwyn Garden City since it opened in October 1983. The firm has grown and developed since that time and there are now four partners and over 20 members of staff. Michael has a broad client base and deals with most private client work. He is also the partner in charge of the litigation and personal injury departments.

Rachael Marshall Rachael joined Ewart Price in 2004. Since then she has qualified as a graduate of the Institute of Legal Executives and is currently completing her final two years of qualifying employment to become a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
She has successfully completed ILEX Level 6 exams in Conveyancing Practice, Land Law, Planning Law and Law of Wills and Succession.
... She is positive committed and helpful and works under the supervision of qualified staff.
Rachael understands the needs of clients who wish to move house. She is particularly keen to ensure that they are fully informed of the progress of their transaction as she is aware how stressful this time is for her clients.
Rachael also deals with re-mortgage cases and other general conveyancing matters.

Mounia pursued her law degree at London Guildhall University and Université Jean Moulin Lyon III in France. She then successfully completed a Masters in Public International Law at University College London and was one of the few that graduated with merit. She then spent some time working in trial chambers at the United Nations War Crimes Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague. Mounia then qualified as a barrister at the Bar and is a member of The Honourable Society ...of Lincoln’s Inn.
Mounia joined Ewart Price in June 2004. She left for a short while to complete a term of service at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. She rejoined Ewart Price in September 2005 and qualified as a solicitor thereafter. Mounia joined the partnership on the 1st February 2011.
Her areas of practice include personal injury, employment law and general civil litigation.

Zoe Lowe has been with Ewart Price since 1996 after working in central London for several years dealing with general litigation. Zoe specialises in road traffic accident claims. She is also a volunteer helper with a local disabled club and has a particular interest in disability issues.

Graham Tooze LL.B qualified as a Solicitor in 1986 and specialises in Residential Conveyancing and other property related transactions.
Graham joined Ewart Price in 1998 and, prior to this, he was a Partner and Head of Conveyancing at his former firm Woolley & Weston. Although now based at Welwyn Garden City, and formerly at Stevenage, he has clients and contacts throughout Hertfordshire and, indeed, in many other parts of the country.
Graham has had a wealth of experience i...n different legal fields over the years including Family and Matrimonial, Criminal and Civil Litigation, Employment, Commercial, Wills and Probate. However, he is best known locally for his expertise in Conveyancing, built up over the last twenty-five years. During this period he has acted on numerous residential and commercial transactions with values in excess of one million pounds as well as sales and purchases of houses, flats, freehold reversions, lease extensions and shared ownership acquisitions.
Although happy to correspond by email (he is in regular contact with clients both locally and throughout the world), he also promotes the benefits of a personal meeting with clients to discuss their transactions. This ensures that clients have a full understanding of their rights and responsibilities before binding to expensive commitments. He also stresses the benefit to clients of local service and advice.
Out of the office, Graham has been involved in supporting local businesses through local chambers of commerce for over 25 years. He has been appointed as an Honary Life Vice President of the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry, having been formerly a director and the company secretary. He is also a School Governor at his former senior school, Thomas Alleynes in Old Stevenage. His interests are golf, scuba diving, pilates, various sports, travel and listening to music.

Michael Steel founded the firm of Ewart Price in 1983. He was joined by Michael Briscoe (our Managing Partner) but continued to work from our associated practice in London until October 2007, when he relocated to Welwyn Garden City.
Michael has many years experience of dealing with residential and commercial conveyancing, landlord and tenant work, the sale of small businesses, employment law and has in the past handled many litigation cases. His interests include opera, the...atre and football (a fine combination) and tries to find time for his wife and family, within a busy work schedule.
