Visited November 2017. A splendid site in such a picturesque area. Eager to revisit. Highly recommended.

This is a tranquil site with beautiful views, on the edge of the river Barle. The facilities & staff are excellent. It’s only a short walk away from the town or pubs, great walks & a Children’s playarea. Our whole family loves this site. It’s our second visit & we would definitely come back again.

User

Stunning tranquil immaculate site ran by lovely people and surrounded by a very pretty little town great pub by the river nice walks the best touring site we have been to hands down in the UK 10/10 don’t change a thing thanks for a great holiday Peter & Dora Browning.

Perfect for exploring Exmoor. Set in a peaceful location a few minutes walk from the beautiful village which has a good selection of interesting shops and eateries. Plenty of local walks. The site itself is small enough to be quiet and is immaculately kept by friendly and helpful wardens. We stayed at the end of September for four nights as part of a Southwest tour but I wish we'd done longer here and less time elsewhere.

User

Our first site and we are amazed at how welcoming we were made, shower block was immaculate, town beautiful and walks were stunning, we'll be back for sure :):)

User

Lovely well kept site, could live in the shower block. Beautiful area though a car would be an advantage. Great pub 5 mins walk. Definatly come again. 👍👍

User

User

Love this site!!! Small but beautifully formed!!!! Good facilities, quiet, clean, and a 2 minute walk into the village with a lovely deli, butcher, bakery, greengrocer, chemist and not to mention a few lovely dog friendly pubs serving great food. Superb.

User

It is our first visit and we love it location is perfect. Facilities are so clean and staff friendly. Anyone thinking about coming here I would say do it

User

I am with Ian Tyson on this one, I don’t want to tell you about it. 👍👍👍🤔🤔🤔

User

Excellent site in a pretty location immaculately clean and two toilet blocks on such a small site. Friendly staff, very tranquil 👍

User

Don't want to recommend this site to anyone, want it all to myself. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, good clean facilities and in a great small village with most things you require. Directions to the site are accurate, but needs to be followed closely, esp the final approach. One of those little gems I will keep revisiting.

Charming site couple at Exmoor site who were very friendly & made us feel so welcome;

fab walks from site; spotless facilities on the site too; great local pub & shops.

User

Beautiful site with lovely views. Not great if you have children. X

User

A beautiful site with excellent facilities and caters for our four legged companions. Situated next to the Barle River nestled in the Barle Valley. Short walk into the quaint town which has such lovely shops and places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would like to return in the summer.

User

Very helpful staff and always willing to have a chat providing they are not too busy. Facilities excellent, not crowded despite the number of vans on site, wonderfully heated and wonderfully clean. Large and larger pitches in a small community area. Very handy for the town - only 300m walk to everything you may need. The only blot on the landscape for some people could be the total lack of mobile signal unless you are on EE - but I found it refreshing not to be disturbed while I was away, the wi-fi was excellent and no drop-outs. Plenty of places to go, see and do. Will be returning again.

User

Only second day here but the sun is shining. The site is very well cared for and a stones throw away from the town. Bridge inn very friendly food good and dog friendly however we were able to sit outside which was a bonus

User

Nice site if you like peace and quiet

Access a bit strange as it seems like you are going wrong

No mobile phone signal although on all networks except EE

Watch out for local idiots who like to own the road

Friendly warden

Site well kept all wash areas spotless
