I've been informed recently by a few people that the new pet shop in Leicester is telling people that i've been closed down because of some bats which is completely wrong and no truth in his comments This is a complete lie for him to get as much business as he can obviously his behavior is quite malicious so if you want the truth about anything then please feel welcome to ask me and not other people Yes I'm still a licensed trader and always will be Yes i am altering the ...shop very soon as I'm going back into breeding exotics again full time I will Still get every animal people want via pre order rather than stocking it all the time and the prices will be so much better this way for you also all animals will still have my usual health guarantees Frozen and live food will be always available and I will still be stocking the usual exotic pet products aswell The main difference will be via appointment only as I will be working with my breeding stock most of the time now So if you hear these rumors then please correct these people 🤗

We visited Dave today for the Carrie Encounter and had a thoroughly brilliant time. Dave has a huge amount of knowledge and experience to share and is a fascinating person to spend time with. Thank you for a great day.

We came in the other day and absolutely were amazed at the variety of reptiles on offer and how unique the shop was as a whole. The gentleman who owns the shop was extremely welcoming and friendly...also super knowledgeable. We bought an Asian water monitor and we were given some fantastic care advice and follow up info. The guy was super passionate about all his animals and really took the time to help us and make us feel welcome. Will definitely make the 38min journey over again.

The best pet shop I’ve been to! I was given the best advice for a set up for a lesser tenrec, and now she has an amazing viv she can call home. All the weird and wonderful creatures are very well looked after. I’ll definitely be returning!

Really good quality service and excellent range of animals. I recently bought a Portuguese Lap Dancing Bullfrog along with a tank and bits and pieces to go in it. Fair prices and the staff are second to none, will definitely be returning soon. Cheers guys, that’s great thanks.

It's the best petshop in leicester you just need to go and see for yourself and you will wot I mean

Interesting and competitively priced stock. Exceptionally knowledgeable manager (he even knows about invertebrates) which makes a change from some other Pet Shops. Ethical sourcing and a genuine love and appreciation for the animals kept there and sold. I must visit opportunity for anyone interested in exotic pets

I've never had an issue at this shop and have even sat in the garden and had a cuppa with him as I hadn't visited for a long time. My husband and I have bought various snakes and lizards off him over the years and have sought him out for advice when we've had any issues with any of our animals (even if we haven't bought them from him!).



It's understandable that he has a booking system now due to chronic health issues. However it does not put me off his shop and I would love to take my kids to see his animals when they're a bit bigger. Keep up the good work Dave! For my husband birthday I booked him an hour with Carrie ( Caracal cat ), she was wonderful, extremely friendly and loved all the fuss. Dave was great in filling us with lots of information on her breed, habits and life style, a very enjoyable afternoon , recommend it to any animal lover thanks Dave and Carrie

Couldn't be more helpful when buying our son's baby bearded dragon. Great first time experience. Even makes to me to speak to my partner the past few days guiding us in the right direction to giving the best care to our very first reptile. Thanks so much for everything.

Very upset with how we was treated today. Known you many years bought loads from you and sold loads to you as well.

Apparently it opens as and when not as per the opening times. Drive 45 mins arrive 30 mins after stated opening times to be told I need to sit in the car for 30 mins with a 1 yr old in 28 degree heat and wait for some guests to leave. Than told the shop doesn't have opening times anymore whilst I'm standing next to a sign with opening times on. �
