~ WHAT IS IMPORTANT ~
I would love to know what do you think is really important when considering extensions ? Would you do your research, maybe you would go on recommendation, or would you just take a gamble and go anywhere ?

Hairdresser ~ Able to cut and blend your extensions.
Application ~ I am a real neat freak and application should be neat and precise sections, no stray hair, hair should be weight for weight ensuring extensions are not too heavy for the natural hair.
Method ~ Which method ? These days there are many methods to choose from, how do you decide which is best for you ? You might follow your friend, you might go to someone who only offers one method so you have no choice. This is why a consultation is the perfect way to find out what would be suitable for you.
Colour blend ~ The perfect colour match is a must, the last thing you want is extensions which do not match your hair colour.
Invisible ~ I believe you should not be able to tell if someone is wearing extensions they should not be visible to the eye.
Seamless blend ~ Again blending extensions in with your natural hair is a must for a seamless finish, what you really do not want is to see the line of your natural hair through your extensions. If this does happen it is often a sign not enough extensions were fitted. Cutting and blending is also very important to ensure your extensions will blend in with your natural hair.
Cost ~ I am sure cost is a major factor, this is why you want to ensure you get it right first time...the saying “you only get what you pay for” is definitely true when it comes to extensions. In the world of Hair Extensions there are many different grades of hair and this can be a reason why prices do vary so please bear this in mind.

Ladies thanks so much for all your lovely messages 💕 and it has been lovely chatting to some of you. I am glad to hear you are all ok and you are managing your hair. I am missing you all and I can’t wait to get back to normal seeing you all and revamping your hair. Please don’t worry once lockdown restrictions are lifted you can be assured I will be working overtime to fit you all in and restore your hair back to perfect!! ~ UPDATE CURLY HAIR ~
Really exciting news I have just had notification that the new range of curly hair should be with me within the next week......At present it is limited colours (1b and 2) if there is anyone out there who would love to try it once lockdown has been lifted please let me know.

~ HELLO APRIL ~
As we go into a new month and in lockdown ~ who would ever have thought we would be going through something like this ? Scary to think we can't get on with our normal day to day life but we can have some "ME" time, lots of us lead busy lifestyles and often don't have lots of spare time for ourselves. I have decided today I am going to do my hair and make-up and actually put on something other than gym wear!! ... Today is going to be for ME.....

What has everyone got planned for today ? I have been faffing about all morning I haven't really got going yet. I am going to do my fitness class then I am going ring a few of my friends for a chat and see how they are doing. I don't know about you but I have been having a lot of phone conversations this last week. Keep safe everyone we are all in this together Xx

I often have ladies who contact me asking if their hair is long enough for extensions ? On most occasions "yes" it is here is a transformation for this lovely lady which was done before lockdown. This lady was growing out an undercut so the underneath layers at the sides were quite short, using micro bonds on these areas ensured the bonds were not too heavy for her natural hair. As you can see the end result was completely natural with a perfect colour match.

How is everyone ? For those of you who are not working like myself 😓 what have you been doing this last week ?
As we have no choice but to stay at home let's make the most of the time we have and do those things we do not normally get time to do.
... I have managed to re vamp my wardrobes sorted out all my clothes, I now have lots of bags for charity.
I signed up for an online fitness site, Gymondo.com was recommend by a couple of my lovely clients...great recommendation I love it, so many classes to choose from.
I have never talked so much on the phone to clients, family and friends 💕
Bibi is loving it, she has been following me around and wants to be involved in everything, I can't believe she has nearly been with us for a year!

~ AFTERCARE ~
Durning these challenging times as we are not able to get together for our regular maintenance or removal appointments ladies please ensure you stick to your aftercare regime.
Whilst during normal times it is advised pre bonded extensions should be kept in for up to 3-4 months, fusion bonds, micro/nano rings regular maintenance appointments and tape extension removals at 6 to 8 weeks, as long as you continue with your maintenance regime of daily brushing and se...parating around the attachment area, you should experience no adverse effects from the extensions staying in over the usual recommended wear time.⁠ ⁠ These are exceptional times and I would urge you to maintain, rather than attempt removal yourself.⁠ ⁠ Ladies please be assured if you need advice or have any questions please do not hesitate to call or message on 07860 934484

~ POSITIVE VIBES ~
Those of you who are like myself staying safe and not able to work what are you doing with your free time ?
The last few days I haven't really bothered styling my hair, I have just put it up, I am aware my colour needs a refresh and my extensions need re doing, but this isn't going to happen for a while......so a messy bun it is 😊
... On a positive note I am going to make the most of the time I have at home, I don't often have much free time.
Today I have decided to sort out my wardrobes, so many things I don't even like and I am so fed up with Winter stuff, I am going to retrieve all my Spring/Summer clothes from the loft sort through everything, wash and iron them all ready for the lovely weather!

~ FISHTAIL BRAID TUTORIAL ~
I was looking for a Braid tutorial for one of my clients, she wanted something which looked fab but was also easy to do!! I and came across this one and thought wow..LOVE it, we all have plenty on time on our hands.....so maybe it is time to learn how to braid 🙂

Looking back over the last few weeks it has been great, lots of lovely ladies booked in for various different services, new extensions, hair volumisers, consultations, I even coloured some tapes ready for a client. Over the next few weeks it is going to be really hard, but we all have to do our bit and stay at home. Hopefully it won't be long and we can get back on track and start booking everyone back in.
