Extra Motorway Services(Snap)

Excellent service station. Had wonderful choices of restaurants. Eds diner. KFC. Costa Coffee and more.

Don't like this turnoff from A1 and have started using bar hill to combine shopping with stopping. Well maintained but like so many services there can be very limited food&drink offerings when off-peak.

Range of food outlets and coffee shops, plus marks and Spencer and wh smith. Toilets including clean accessible toilet. Good accessibility around the services but some shops like Wh Smith and M&S small aisles. Automatic door to whole centre and no doors to individual shops though. Lots of free parking. Shell Petrol garage, thought tends to be around 3-4p per litre more expensive than shell stations in Peterborough itself, due to catching a1 traffic.

Always like to stop at Extra Peterborough, as it is convenient between home & London. THE BIG PROBLEM IS ...I have a caravan, and we seem NOT TO BE WANTED. There is a large area for coaches, which has at the most, when I have been there, about 3 or 4 coaches in an area that could take about a dozen. We with our caravan are directed to the lorry park, where there appears to be only two designated caravan parking spots, so we have to use the lorry park which is often almost full, and it is a long way from the cafes and other facilities, and I am sorry to say quite often smells of urine. Why can't we use the "old" coach park area, or even the new coach park area. We used to be directed to an area near where the new coach park area is now, but more often than not the spaces designated "caravans" were used by white vans. COME ON EXTRA please help.

It's a motorway services with lots of choice of different fast food, the only thing somewhat different it has a Burrito bar. It also has a recycling centre for recyclable items rather than putting everything in the bin. Other than that clean toilets and nice clean seating areas to eat your food. Prices are higher than you'd find on the High Street or local superstores but isn't that normal worldwide for motorway service areas? But plastic bottles of fizzy water and 500 ML soda( but seems to be the same as other motorway service areas in the UK) seem to be almost double High Street prices while most other things seem to have rises of 20% over high street or superstore prices.

I've travelled around the UK a lot and these have to be by far the best services I have visited. Vast selection of shops and places to eat. Ample parking and very clean and well maintained building.

This Services at Peterborough is a main stop for us, when we do jobs heading up in to Lincolnshire. Despite being very busy, the queues are dealt with rather quickly, regardless of which shop / restaurant it is. Definitely have all hands on deck, here! And another bonus is that we always manage to find a place to sit together, which is nice because we work in a team of 5-6 people. The toilet facilities are also remarkably clean.

Decent services with toilets, rest areas and a food court. Toilets not the cleanest but there are lots available. Choice of food is ok, mostly chain fast food places but there are some others, I normally get something like a salad from the M&S or a coffee from Costa. Can get very busy during meal times. Their car parks could be improved with safer crossing areas.

Great place to stop, plenty of choice in eateries and a M&S store if you need to pick up essentials. Toilets are cleaned regularly. Have been using this stop regularly for past sixteen years and it is one of the best motorway services I visit on my journeys around the country!

Top notch service station with a quality choice of dining options. Similar to Beaconsfield services on M40. Quality outlets of fast food and shops with 2 nice sit in restaurants. One is an American diner the other is Patisserie Valerie which has decent hot food and good breakfast alongside the pastries and cakes. Good coffee in there.

Good range of shops and eating choices for a motorway stopping point. Probably the best one northbound for several miles.

Not a bad motorway services, close to Peterborough. Good place to grab coffee/food. Relatively clean too.

Are you allowed a favourite motorway services? If you are then Gloucester is mine, followed by Peterborough. Seeing as they're nowhere near each other, Peterborough is always our A1 stop.
