We bought a multi fuel stove a couple of years ago and have been buying the smokeless ovals from F W Lawson, the service is outstanding and the product amazing. I would recommend this coal merchant without hesitation.
Purchased smokeless coal in a 50kg open sack. Very friendly staff and when they dropped the coal off I wasn't there as I was in Driffield at the cash machine, but they still dropped the coal off in my outside bunker. They put a invoice through my letter box where I had a variety of Options to pay. I chose the online banking route as they have their sort code and account number on the invoice. Very convenient and so easy.
The coal itself is brilliant for multi fuel stoves as there is no smoke, high heat output and they burn for along time. Every now and again I throw a bit of wood on for effect but truth be told the coal will be ample. I like to play around with different fuels and I have tried hardwoods, softwoods, wood briquettes and now smokeless coal from FW Lawson. I am delighted with it and will be purchasing again.
