Acacia Senegal (Gum Hashab) are crystalized nodules, that form on the Acacia Tree (a small thorny deciduous tree from the genus Acacia commonly found in Sudan)after the tree is tapped. These nodules vary from around 5-500 mm+ in size, and are plucked by hand once dried.

Gum Talha, also known as Acacia Seyal is more friable than the hard tears produced by Acacia Senegal and is found as a whole lumps in smaller pieces. Also marked under E414, its main applications are industrial and some specific food applications such as fibre and adhesive sources.

Hand-sorting process of Gum Olibanum Gum Olibanum is a greenish-yellow solid in the form of irregular nodules which on pressing form a slightly plastic mass. Its product, the resin, is hand-sorted for quality. Quality is based on colour, aroma, shape and age.

Gum Karaya is the gum exudation obtained by the incision of the stems and branches of Sterculiaceae trees.

Beeswax is the wax secreted by bees to make honeycombs and used in a multitude of applications within the food, pharmaceutical and industrial usage
