The Faculty of Natural & Mathematical Sciences delivers world class research, education and innovation in our core areas of chemistry, mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, telecommunications, robotics and biophysics.

Our work crosses traditional subject boundaries creating cutting-edge research that provides opportunities to engage in multidisciplinary activities with a range of other units within the College, and to develop partnerships with external groups in industry.

The tradition of excellence within the School includes a history of high levels of research funding and five Nobel Laureates from among our distinguished former staff.
