For the past 5 years we had been described as a posh 'Bring & Buy Store. You bring it, others buy it. All store donation profits go to several good causes relating to promoting the health and well being of all animals dependent on need priority.
We made & have made regular financial / food donations to the following . . .
. Improving the Lives of Lone Ponies by providing hardstanding, shelter & hay nets
. Grassmoor Area Animal Neutering Service
. Angel Wings Animal Rescue
. Cedar Wildlife Sanctuary.
. Short term (up to 3 months ) Dog Walker payments for those in need or asisst in rehoming
. Dunroamin K9 Rescue
. Chesterfield Animal Rescue
. SHAK
. Individual vets bills up to a 3rd of the bill
. Monthly rotation of the 'money tree' charity cans, asking for silver contribution for a 'holy' carrier bag.
In addition, we have monthly direct debits to the Dogs Trust, RSPB, Guide Dogs aswell as the infamous weekly 'till tenner'. to the feral cat feeders who pop instore.
. & many many more but this machine won't give us the space.

Anyone was able to nominate a deserving cause and decisions were made within 48 hrs as to the action required re assistance received whether it be financial or practical help for the cause concerned.
We also provided free collars & leads (if available) to the homeless & advice ( on 'not to put any animal on a choke chain etc ) to those that need them .
All monies are receipted and are available for view upon request
All clothes (any condition), Furniture + bricabrac / financial donations were gratefully received and reliable honest volunteers were welcome. No wages were paid to anyone but we did sell individual items on commission & rental space available.
Anyone involved in promoting the wellbeing of animals, rescues etc were able to work instore on a rotational Saturday retaining the daily takings for their animal welfare cause. (Evidence & recommendation required)
We closed every January for recycling, renewing & refreshing.
