I've just spent a week in Ward 2 as a difficult patient who likes to wander (I can't stay in one place to long) and was made to feel safe and well cared for by the very attentive and hardworking nurses on the ward. I'd have gone out of my mind if it wasn't for them, they were truly brilliant, amazing professionals who I am very thankful for.

For the majority of the hospital helpful friendly staff but one or two areas where the staff could be a little more helpful. Definitely not enough car park spaces though

I have had a number of appointments at Williams Street Eye unit, they are an extremel busy unit usually with more than 1 clinic running at a time.I have found all staff pleasant and very helpful from reception, nursing staff that do eye tests and each consultant. Many Thanks to you all.

On Friday 2nd December 2016 I was took by Ambulance from Bury walk in Centre to Fairfield Hospital with severe chest infection. When I got there and had a Chest X-Ray...it became very clear that I had Bilateral Pneumonia and T2RF the staff were amazing..caring and taking blood left right and centre. By Saturday morning I was in ICU. The sister there was Fantastic I think her name was liz. God the lady knows her stuff!! Anyway after fantastic care from them I was sent down to ward 2 Cardiac. The old dears patients were lovely and also the staff on that ward were lovely Also. I had nurse Tom...I think I scared him a little as I was still so poorly and delirious. But he was very kind and caring. Next day I was took to ward 6 Respiratory for 5 days. They were fantastic...All The staff were caring, helpful from Holly and the girls giving me drinks breakfast and dinner to the cleaners. The Nurses, doctors, Consultants and physio therapists. Your all my Angels. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for looking after me.

Fantastic!! My mum was taken ill overnight and we took her to A & E on Friday 18th Nov at 2am. The team were superb - efficient caring and professional - I cannot praise them enough!

Went in with severe stomach pain. Crying and can't even sit nor stand due to the massive pain I was having yet I was left there waiting for over 30min in agony. And all to be seen by a nurse who seems I'm fine to wait for another 10 to 15 min in the same waiting hall. It was a bad experience and never wish anyone else or me to experience it again.

I came out of the hospital last night, my experience there was that the staff on Ward 1 of the cardiac ward was literally out of this world that was all polite and would do anything to help you, I had tea there after my op and it was lovely, I just wish the NHS would recommend that Fairfield General Hospital is the place to go for any operations you have, May I just say a big big thank you to all the staff on Ward 1 and Dr. Hargreaves for there kind work thank you all. Mr. Alwyn Berry. (Olly)
