Didn't enjoy our stay. Left at 11.30pm to go home as the bed was so uncomfortable. Sounded like the rain was dripping through the walls. No privacy as the bathroom did not have a solid door but a door with slits in! Car Parking facilities shocking, charged an extra Β£5 which was not advertised anywhere also would have been disturbed to let other people out and this should not be advertised as a facility on the website as I didn't feel my car was safe in a backstreet. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't stay long enough to find out.

Just got back from our stay here, we had a triple room was plenty of room and a comfy night stay. Also the mother and sister in law stayed and found there rooms where nice aswell. There basic but clean and spacious. The breakfast was lovely it was buffet style was really nice. The best part of the b&b had to be the owners could not do enough for us he was polite, helpful asked us if we needed anything to let him know and even let us leave our cars parked for the day while we went out! Really nice guy :-) we would stay again.

Totally disappointed with this stay. Woman at reception was rude and unfriendly on arrival. On entry to our room a vile smell hit you. This was coming from the so called bathroom. Disgusting. A double electric wall socket was hanging off the wall totally. Beds were well used and very uncomfortable Advertised as private car park at rear which turned out to be basically a rear yard off a narrow back lane which took 4 cars only so ended up costing Β£10 for an overnight car park as all off street parking was full. On checkout when handing over the key the woman on reception was quite rude saying put the key there and not even a thank you or hope you enjoy your stay. Def not recommend to anyone

Absolutely loved this place would rate it a 10 if I could!! The staff were exemplary! Went out of their way to accommodate us. It was a last minute booking after a failed caravan holiday break. The top floor was amazing two large family rooms with a large bathroom to share. The beds were extremely comfortable you don't want to get up in the morning until you smell that wonderful breakfast smell. The breakfast buffet was outstanding absolutely loved it. So many different choices. Would 100% come back here again.

Stayed in this hotel for the first time for just one night as a last minute thing. On entry to the main reception, I rang the door bell and the lady who owns it answered, very nice and friendly, I parked my car in the parking bay round the back. She gave me my room key and I went to find my room. Landings were very nicely decorated, plenty of lighting and fresh smelling air. My room was a single room on the first floor, nice clean bed sheets were applied, clean fresh towels, en-suite bathroom with toilet sink and shower, TV on the wall and a kettle with tea and coffee waiting for me :). The Breakfast was lovely, nice and hot. The lady owner came round and said 'good morning' to all the guests in the hotel and made sure everything was to our satisfactory, in her eyes she couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend and I certainly will be booking again in future. 4 stars because I only stayed the one night so didn't get the full atmosphere of the hotel.
