Been recently furnished, rooms were clean and modern, biggest change is to bar and restaurant area, which is now very nice. Good selection of beers and lagers. Will stay again

The food was fantastic but the service was utterly shocking. Staff need to be trained properly. Wrong food was brought to the table, our dessert cutlery was removed from the table without being asked if we wanted desserts, 25 minutes later we managed to order some desserts which took a further 15 minutes to arrive. I'm still waiting for the pint I ordered. The couple next to us had plastic in their dessert and instead of just apologising, the waiter started making absurd excuses. Won't be returning until the staff know what they are doing and can remember orders.
Large, comfortable rooms, good parking. Excellent showers. Friendly staff. However internet access is a bit slow. Got 2 meg early evening but dropped to almost nothing later. TVs rather too small for the size of the rooms.

Great hotel, however a little out of the way if you do not want to take the car into town. Nice bar area and large venue hall. They also offer a novel game of football golf.
