Our two Anglo-Nubian goats are always climbing, either over the Troll Bridge or on our tyre mountain. These two goats (called Billy and Gruff) are great fun, and are always very happy to receive goat food from visitors, which can be bought at admissions or from dispensers in the animal area. Wow what can I say , I was a bit worried when I read some of the negative reviews but thought just go and see for yourself :-) I'll just start by saying that we have had many days out to very popular tourist attractions and paid a lot of money on entry and spent most of the time stressing out due to it being so busy and hectic and some attractions not fully living up to my expectations I found some places very untidy and run down around the edges :-( .This place is absolutely amazing we spent over 5 hours here today it was very relaxed and there is something for everyone,we was 2 adults and 3 kids not once did they moan, winge or say they was bored ,so much to do and interact with. There are many places that say they cater for people with disabilities but always found some issues , this place has been throughly thought out and planned so greatly nothing was an issue at all,my daughter is very accident prone and caught herself (not looking where she was going ) and caught her arm on some wire ,reported to reception they acted straight away on the matter and cleaned her up ,the staff are so lovely and caring and nothing is to much trouble especially when she kept returning for new plasters as hers fell off due to her being hot .new areas are being planned and built and we can't wait to come back and see they new bits .my nephew has autism and it's the 1st day out he has enjoyed and joined in on everything which was lovely to finally see, his sister and cousin was so surprised and loved the fact that he joined in and we all loved the giant camera and the pictures came through straight away to my email address a fantastic fun feature and a lovely keepsake photo of our lovely day .

Keep up the excellent work guys you are all doing a fantastic job and it's a lovely interactive farm /play place .

We’ve just got home from one of the best family days out we’ve had! There were back to back organised activities for the children (aged 10, 5, 3 and 2...plus some enthusiastic 30 somethings ) it was spotlessly clean and uncrowded. We stayed for 6 hours and only left because it was closing time-I think the children would quite happily live there forever! Sian who led all the activities was absolutely brilliant, so friendly and full of fun and a real credit to your business. We will be back!

We went yesterday first thing in the morning to meet friends. I was worried as we were the only visitors at the time and it was my 1st time going with my 2 girls a 4 and 1 years old. I should’t of being worried one bit as it was a amazing and filled up fast, all I can say was it was a little Gem of a place. My kids loved it and we have being to a few pet farm and they have being all way over priced but this one was very reasonable priced I found. Didn’t get to see any mice in the mouse town as they were all asleep but next time I hope to catch them awake keep up the great work and improvements

User

Visited today with a 3 and 1 year old. Had a lovely time and thought it was excellent value for money. A real little gem. Not too busy either despite the gorgeous weather. Staff friendly and animals well cared for. Def visit again!

User

This is where we spent Easter Sunday this year & we had the most wonderful time so so much to see & do I would recommend this place to anyone with children it was fantastic, & also so nice to see somewhere that is suitable for children with disabilities & special needs.

Absolutely fantastic xx

User

Magical. So much thought gone into everything. A splendid place for children, especially those with sensory issues. I enjoyed my visit very much with my daughter and 2 of my grandchildren, we will definitely be back.

Highly recommend

I have visited recently with my two disabled children. One of which has sensory processing disorder along side ASD. It was such a pleasure to watch him exploring all of the sensory things the farm had on offer. So many farm parks just feature animals and a small play park and can become pretty much the same as you visit. I was so impressed with fairytale farm. My daughter who is 9 also enjoyed the area especially the fairy tale rooms that come to life. It has been amazingly thought out. The water play was a big hit! Thank you for thinking this through. I will definitely be returning. The only downside was just the one toilet at the start and none at the end, but that’s not worth knocking a star off, we held it!!!

User

Amazing place, my 17 month old loves it. Been up to see the Easter bunny today and even though it's wet we've still had a great time. The food in the cafe is lovely too.

User

We are a family of 4 - 2yr old & 8 yr old. The place is odd in the way that it’s thrown huge plastic fairground style sea animals/mermaid in with a playground & farm. We are the kind of family that finds “odd” hilarious. Very unique place. The mice in houses was cute. My children liked the wishing well. My two year old had a wonderful time pressing all the buttons on the musical animals. They liked racing the ducks. I think 8yrs is probably pushing the limit & I’d only recommend this place to families with very young children, on a warm day & also bring a packed lunch like we did. The farm is a good farm with lots of space to walk and benches to sit and the kind of animals you’d expect with the inclusion of alpacas, one with very curly hair and funny teeth. My children really enjoyed feeding the animals. The entry fee was fine. We were there for 2.5hrs. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I gave it 4 because we did buy drinks from the cafe that were a little pricy.

User

We visited yesterday, the weather was not great so allowed for a bit of muddy puddles but it was thick with mud. Play area was caked in mud and the animal pens were thick with mud.

Fed the sheep, alpacas and guinea pigs. That was the best part for my girls. I could imagine it would be nice in the summer.

We were the only ones there.

Paid £20 for 4 of us to get in for a half hour visit. Then spent £15 on 4 hot chocolates and a couple of packs of biscuits.

Quite disappointed really. Maybe they could of reduced the entry cost knowing that the weather and ground was not good.

Such a shame.

Very much a toddler day out. My girls are 7 and 11.

User

Very small farm with few animals and small sensory area and play park. Overpriced cafe for what you get. Ok if you’re local but not worth travelling far to and couldn’t spend a whole day out here more a couple of hours max.

User

Quite basic but toddlers enjoyed it. Great to feed the animals. "Interactive" mostly means there's a start button to play some music or turn a light on. I'd suggest getting baby swings in play area. We had extremely slow service in the cafe (when not busy at all...). Not enough there to to fill a day - you can see everything and play within a few hours.

User

It was okay but the website makes out it’s amazing and huge when actually it’s really tiny but great for little kids aged 1-3

User

I have been here quite a few times before and went yesterday with my son. Great place but oh my goodness. What a rip off the cafe is. I ordered my son a cheese sandwich. It cost £2.50 and when it came it had 1 slice of bread and a sprinkling of cheese. £2.50 for that. Wrote to their customer services with a picture but as yet not received a reply. Great farm. Not many animals but perfect for little ones. Just don’t go to the cafe!!

User

Well... The place in general was "fine" meaning it's a nice, small farm which is good to kill a couple hours on a sunny day, could do with some basic improvements and lowering the entrance fee a bit. What really let this place down was the café, terrible slow service! Today was our first time here, we drove an hour each way to get here only to wait an hour for sandwiches, ridiculous. 2 adults and 2 children ordering at 1pm for just 2 lunchboxes, 2 sandwiches/paninis and 1 hot drink. Firstly my friend was unable to pay on her card despite having the money in her account and the till receipt showing the authorization of this. (?) she couldn't order egg or bacon or chicken as all these ingredients were unavailable, also the fridge was broken? What annoyed me most was waiting an hour for very basic cold food, when there was only 1 other table occupied (who also waited an hour for their food... With a baby) it wasnt busy, no apology or offering a refund or compensation. Its unfair to make children wait so long (PS mine has disabilities which only added to our frustration). Maybe get more staff in over the weekends/busy periods, or at least warn customers if there is a long wait for food. Wont be going back.

User

Very small, by looking at the website it seemed like lots to do and bigger than what it actually was. I was very disappointed when I arrived. Cafe is overpriced for what you get, not many animals. Indoor play area was poor! Needs to be updated and more care put into the place

User

Sorry to only give two stars but I think it’s very overpriced for what is actually on offer - a few farm animals and some play equipment sums up fairytale farm. Not the best of days out but maybe due to the weather - it’s a def no go on a rainy day

User

I visited today with my 3 children and would not recommend it .

The Easter Bunny was average, the cookie decoration wasnt great at all, my daughter was very disappointed as there wasnt much choice or proper space to do it.

The play area was very dirty, i did not want to let my 7 months old play on the floor with the toys that were also very grubby.

The service at the cafe was absolutely awful, we were waiting forever to be served, i counted 6 staff behind the counter so i have no idea as to why we were waiting so long to be served. I bought my children the lunchboxes but did not want to eat there myself. A total waste of money, wish i had spent my £35 else where.

User

I came here this morning with my daughter, friend and her son. We paid £3.50 to visit the rabbits burrow only for me and my daughter to be asked to leave as she was crying. It was only the 4 of us and 1 other child in the burrow at the time. I found it very rude to be asked to leave because my daughter was crying. We paid entry only then to miss out on it which is very disappointing as we are a big fan of fairytale farm but today has ruined the experience for us.
