MERITS OF SAYYIDUNĀ ‘ALĪ رضى الله عنه
Martyred on the 21st of Ramadan 40AH
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:... "I am the House of Wisdom and Ali is its Door." [al-Tirmidhī]
"Ali is from me and I am from Ali." [al-Tirmidhī]
"O Ali, You are to me like Harūn to Musā but there will be no Prophet after me." [al-Bukhari]
"Love for Ali is Imān, hatred for him is Hypocrisy" [al-Tirmidhī]
“Me and Ali were created from the same tree.” [al-Tirmidhī]
"Allah and his Messenger love Ali and Ali loves Allah and his Messenger" [al-Bukhārī]
"There is no man like Ali and no sword like Dhul Fiqār." [al-Hākim]
"Ali is my brother in this world and in the hereafter" [Mishkāt]
"Ali is with the Quran and the Quran is with Ali." [al-Tirmidhī]
"O Allah, make the truth follow Ali." [al-Tirmidhī]
"Loving Ali is a sign of Imān." [Muslim]
"Whoever Loves me, Ali, Hasan, Husayn and Fatimah will be with us on the day of reckoning." [al-Tirmidhi]
"Ali is the helper of every believer." [al-Tirmidhī]
"Of whomsoever I am the helper of, Ali is his helper too. O Allah, be a supporter of whoever supports Ali and an enemy of whoever opposes him and divert the Truth to Ali." [Ahmad]
"O Allah, do not grant me death until I see Ali." [al-Tirmidhī]
"He who harms Ali has harmed me." [Ahmad]
Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Mas'ūd said: "We would recognise the Hypocrites by the remembrance of Ali." [Ahmad]
Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal said:"No one has more merits narrated in Ahādīth than Ali." [Ahmad, al-Nasa'i]
"Beautify your gatherings by the remembrance of Ali." [al-Hākim]
"300 verses were revealed in praise of Ali" [Fadā'il]
Sayyiduna Umar said: "Ali is the greatest Qādī (Judge) amongst us." [al-Sayyūti]
Sayyidah A'isha said: "Ali was the most knowledgeable amongst us." [al-Sayyūti]
Sayyiduna Ali said: "I swear by Allah there's not a single verse in the Quran except I know when it was revealed, where was it revealed and for whom it was revealed." [Fadā'il]
At the time of riding a horse Sayyiduna Ali would start reciting the Holy Quran putting the first foot into one stirrup of the horse and would complete the recitation of the entire Holy Quran before putting the second foot into the other stirrup! [Shawāhid al-Nubūwwah]
Sayyiduna Ali said: I could load 70 camels with the exegesis (Tafsīr) of Sūrah al-Fātiḥa. [al-Itqān Fī Ulum il-Qur'ān]

SAYYIDAH KHADĪJAH AL-KUBRĀ رضى الله عنها
10th Ramadan marks the passing away of Umm al-Mu’minīn Khayr al-Nisā Sayyidah Khadījah bint Khuwaylid the first and most beloved wife of the Messenger of Allah peace and a blessings be upon him and his family.
She is known as the Mother of the believers, and was the first person to accept Islam, the first to spend for Islam, the first to be given glad tidings of jannah, the first to pray with the Messenger. Sayyidah Khadījah was a ver...y successful merchant. She was known by the names Amīrat al-Quraysh: Princess of Quraysh, al-Tāhira: The pure one and Khadījah al-Kubra: Khadījah the great. She fed and clothed the poor, assisted her relatives financially and provided marriage portions the for poor.
Sayyidah Khadījah was said to have neither believed in nor worshipped idols. She was married twice before and she bore the Messenger of Allah ‎ﷺ six children, 4 daughters and two sons.
The Archangel Jibra'il peace be upon him once came to Allah's most beloved Messenger ‎ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, Khadījah is coming to you with a vessel of seasoned food or drink. When she comes to you, offer her greetings from her Lord, the Exalted and Glorious, and on my behalf and give her glad tidings of a palace of jewels in Paradise wherein there is no noise and no toil". (Sahih Muslim)
The Prophet ‎ﷺ also said once, The best of the women of Paradise are Khadījah bint Khuwaylid, Fātimah bint Muhammad, Maryam bint Imrān, and Aasiyah bint Muzahim (the wife of the Pharaoh). (Musnad Ahmad)
"She believed in me when no one else did. She embraced Islam when people doubted me. And she helped and comforted me when there was none else to lend me a helping hand. She shared her wealth with me when people deprived me and Allah granted me children through her." (Musnad Ahmad)
"The best of women in her era is Khadījah bint Khuwaylid." (Jāmi al-Tirmidhī)
Whenever The Prophet ‎ﷺ would slaughter a sheep, he used to say, "Send some of it to the friends of Sayyidah Khadījah. The Love of Sayyidah Khadījah was Bestowed to me!" (Sahih Muslim)
Once the Prophet ‎ﷺ fed Sayyidah Khadījah a grape from heaven. (al-Tabari)
The Prophet ‎ﷺ never married other women in the lifetime of Sayyidah Khadījah, until she passed away.” (Sahih Muslim)

Today the 3rd of Ramadan marks the passing away of the Queen of Paradise Sayyidah Fātimah al-Zahrā
The beloved daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his noble family). Fatimah bint Muhammad was a very special woman. She had a short lifespan of 29 years, which she spent in poverty and considerable hardship; yet, despite not having lived a very long life, she won the highest rank amongst the women in the Akhirah. Passed away 6 months after the ...Messenger, it is said she never smiled after the passing away of her beloved father ﷺ.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Fatimah is the leader of the women of Paradise.” [Bukhārī]
“Fatimah is a part of me, so whoever makes her angry makes me angry.” [Bukhārī]
“Fatimah, you will be the first amongst my Ahlul-Bayt to follow (pass away) after me.” [Hilyat ul-Awliya]
“The four greatest women are Maryam, Asiya, Khadijah, and Fatimah.” [Kanz ul-'Ummāl]
“The most beloved of my family to me is Fatimah.” [al-Jāmi al-Saghīr]
Our Mother ‘Aishah was asked “Who was most loved by the Messenger of Allah?” She replied, “Fatimah.” Then she was asked, “And amongst men?” She replied, “Her husband Ali.” [Mishkāt ul-Masābīh]
“On the Day of Judgment, a caller will call out, ‘lower your gaze until Fatimah has passed by.” [al-Sawā'iq]
“If Fatimah is upset, Allah Ta’ala becomes furious and if she is happy, Allah Ta’ala is pleased.” [Mustadrak]
“Oh, Ali, Jibreel has informed me that Allah has married you to Fatimah” [al-Riyādh]
Our Mother Aisha said: “Never have I seen anyone like the Messenger of Allah, in his solemn way of standing and sitting, more than Fatimah. When Fatimah would come to the Noble Prophet, he would stand up for her, affectionately kiss her on her forehead, and would make her sit in his spot. When the Noble Prophet would go to Fatima, she would stand up, would kiss his blessed hand, and would respectfully make him sit in her place.” [Tirmidhī]
“All the children of a woman are attributed to their father, but not the sons of Fatimah.” [Kanz ul-'Ummāl]

On the third of Ramadan, Sayyidah Khatoon e Jannah Fātimah uz Zahra سلام الله عليها departed from this temporary world,
On the tenth of Ramadān, Sayyidah Khadījah Al-Kubrā رضي الله تعالى عنها departed from this temporary world,
On the seventeenth of Ramadān, Sayyidah Ā'īshah al-Siddiqah رضي الله تعالى عنها departed from this temporary world,
On the 21st of Ramadān, Sayyidinā Mawla 'Ali ibn Abi Tālib رضي الله تعالى عنه was martyred.
May Allāh make this Ramadān a fruitful month for us and allow us to better ourselves as an Ummah of the Greatest Messenger, The Beloved of Allāh, Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
