Baby Time at Greengate Children's Centre is back this week - Thursday 27th at 9.30am. Last time we explored pots and pans, this open ended play encourages communication as well as physical development. We played peek a boo and made lots of noise banging the pans and lids together.

Over the summer holidays we have had a lovely group of children coming to Greengate Children's Centre. The children were making the huge leap from Primary to Secondary school, and we have helped them to prepare for the changes. We have covered topics such as 'my achievements', 'worries & problem solving', 'the link between our thoughts, feelings and behaviours & understanding empathy' and 'what makes a good first impression'.
Yesterday some of the children came back to visit ...us, to tell us how they are doing in their new schools, but mainly to show us how smart they look in their uniforms, they can even tie ties now!!!! We managed to capture a photo of some of them looking brilliant!
Comments left by the children about the group were:- "I have enjoyed working together." "I have learnt to be more confident when chatting and making new friends." "I have learnt how confident I can be." "The group has helped me to deal with my problems."
