Fanatical FlyFishing client Bill Hansen into several fish at beautiful Elinor Trout Fishery at the weekend. Top of the water action at Elinor was fantastic and most of the fish he caught were on dries or nymphs in the top foot. Elinor is fishing its head off which is testament to Ed Foster's fishery management and stocking policy.

Pitsford Reservoir in April with my client Ray Adams from Australia. Ray is used to lovely weather where cold means it gets down to a chilly 15 degrees. On this day we actually thought it was going to snow and the fog never lifted all day. Seriously cold but we still caught the odd fish with gritted teeth!! Well done sticking it out Ray - see you next year.

Rutland water has been on seriously good form recently - these specimen Brownies (approx 9lbs + 4lbs) are incredible to catch, behold and then to return safely and quickly. These were both caught with buzzers on a floating line - incredible fun!! Call to arrange your trip with me to catch more of these amazing fish.

Happy customer Phil Lee with his first ever Trout caught on Fly at Marton Heath Trout Lakes in Cheshire, with Fanatical Flyfishing. Had a great day with Phil who came on leaps and bounds through the day and cooked his catch for the family the same evening!
