What an absolute gem of a place. We come to Portland on a regular basis and today was the first time we discovered Fancy’s Farm. Beautiful animals that appear to be well looked after and a member of staff spent a good 10 minutes talking to us about the different animals which was lovely. Highly recommended and we will be back. I can’t believe this place is free?! There is somewhere to leave a donation and it’s definitely worth it.

We have never had a bad time at Fancys Farm. It's on our doorstep, free to get in, has fab facilities for little people inside and outside. The team are welcoming and the tea is hot and inexpensive. What more could you want? Oh yes, and you get to feed and pet the animals, great for children of all ages!

This is the loveliest, most homely place I have ever visited! The lady who runs it was so motherly and I'd have loved to have more time to spend there but we were on our way back home at the end of our holiday. I will certainly go back and bring the younger grandchildren the next time too as they'd just love all the animals and th

Such an amazing place and so relaxed. The animals are wonderful and always come and say hello. We’re so lucky to have this place so close to home.

Real hands on experience with well kept healthy rescued animals. Love it when the farmer or volunteers tell us the animals names, how old they are etc. Occasionally we may buy some meat, or try a goose or duck egg each. Friendly staff.

User

I went to Fancy's farm, it's a happy place for everyone, they have the friendliest goats ever, there animals are all in the best health, everybody is so friendly and they make the best fried egg roll as well. Max animal welfare for Weymouth paws.

I visited yesterday with 2 of my grandchildren, one age 16, and one age 10, both were enthralled to see so many animals all of them obviously so well cared for, and easy to pet. We stayed a lot longer than we intended. I've spent ages today telling everyone I've met how good it is. Thank you. X

Had a wonderful afternoon on Fancys Farm. The work that goes into these places can never be underestimated and it's a small farm with not many animals but what's there is well worth a look. The owners are super friendly and helpful, the animals all seem really happy and are friendly too. This farm is running on donations alone, there is no entrance fee. Minor detail but worth a mention is the smell of the hand soap, it's very nice .

Had a brill few hours at fancy’s farm this afternoon lovely lot of animals and lovely and nice picnic area and play area inside and good lot of refreshments available to buy

User

Entrance free of charge. Wonderful place. Lovely people. A genuine pleasure to meet the animals of all sorts and the people that can tell you all about them. Enjoyed 'Dave the Rave' who is a young hand reared rescue bird (not a Raven funily)

Enjoy visiting Fancy's Farm when in Dorset with my son. My wife and I and my little boy love this place. The atmosphere is very friendly and it's nice to get some close to the animals. It's nice to see my four year old son get more confident with the animals with every time we visit.

A truly lovely place. A bit tricky to get to but worth the effort. The animals are great and seem well looked after
